  1. Can you use the signature creator tool (inside Edusweep program folder) to create the signatures you want? Most are just identified by filename extension.
  2. Still waiting for a fix to be released for this - it affects the app store as well, so can't sign in on those machines either and stop the 50 'sign in the the app store' messages from appearing on logon. Come on apple.
  3. My favourite had to be the VEX robot at the rapid and Flowol stands. Love the controller.
  4. Coming to BETT tomorrow! Meant to go for the past 5 years but always had something come up. Will swing by the edugeek stand Any freebies this year? Mugs / pens etc?
  5. I had a similar problem with an XJ-A251. Turns out I had to disable the auto keystone setting in the options to stop it overriding the settings on power up.

    The dark side

The word is fantastic - I've never had to use them myself, but within your warranty (and sometimes outside it) just walk into an apple store with it and talk to the 'gurus'.
  7. 17" laptop now sits on the right as well and runs moving map and flight logging software over network. Problem with going triple screen wide is that I don't have the hardware to drive that many pixels at an acceptable fram rate! Projector is probably a better path for out of aircraft visuals, with the glass on a separate computer. Next step is probably to get Project Magenta Project Magenta - High End Flight Simulation Software for networked glass systems and then the ultimate: FlightDeckSolutions dual seat dual trainer (to start with) Flight Deck Solutions
  8. I use it across my network - children and staff have no issues with it. Only pitfalls are that you can't set up client settings via group policy like you can with ms office, but I use mandatory profiles which negates that. I've just upgraded all the clients from openoffice to libreoffice though which is the new name for open office (politics with oracle means the project has been forked and all the other contributors have gone with the fork, leaving ooo mostly dead in the water) LibreOffice Productivity Suite Download » LibreOffice

  10. Same here re whitelist. Would love to play on edugeek username: kesomir
  11. Also ABTutor for classroom/network control
  12. Could check for the existence of the installer controller. If it exists, then redirect from the 'home' controller. Require deletion of the installer on completion. Then I'd zip it all up. The user will have to drop the folder and on navigating to the right url will get the installer, which you can use to check permissions, database etc.
  13. Extract the file using 7zip. It's written in php, so can be run *(I imagine) on IIS with php.
  14. Does this work with terminal services?
  15. Mine were all set to Everyone as well.
  16. I WIN! - ok, ok, I cheated http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=10.00&soc=10.00 http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=10.00&soc=-10.00 http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-10.00&soc=-10.00 http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-10.00&soc=10.00

  18. was considering it to purchase my mum last xmas. Ended up opting for the HP Mini in the end though.
  19. Flightgear is your best bet for a free sim, there's also YS Flight etc, but Flightgear is the best of the free / os bunch. If you can spend any cash - then I'd recommend X-plane. It runs much better than MSFS on the same hardware and focuses more on flying itself. (I fly both). Best situation is if you can get yoke / pedals as well. Fewer units, but much more immersive. Cheapest yet is perhaps a joystick.
  20. No (not unless you have mod_expires and have configured it incorrectly), but you can test that by creating a php file outside of moodle (I think that's what you were describing) and seeing if that caches. If these are php pages displayed through moodle, then my money is on internal moodle caching. Check the performance pages to see what the setting server->performance->Cache Type is set to. make sure it's on none. EDIT: Let me know if I misunderstand your first post. (I'm not sure how you're adding php pages through moodle for example)
  21. Sounds like the pages are being cached. Have a check for any page caching options you can change.
  22. If thats the same as my toshiba short throw mount, then you have to undo two screws from the top, then lift and slide sideways. It's a little jiggly IIRC. EDIT, the projector is fixed to a plate and it's the plate+projector that comes off the rest of the mount if that helps
  23. 2GB + should do it
  24. Posted for archive use An in-situ reinstall (or upgrade using same version) should not affect mailboxes. (Although I suggested a backup of the zimbra folder to be extra sure - you can drop the copied folder back in place if something horrible happens) It just resets configuration and setyp and is what you need to do when moving architecture (say from 32 bit to 64bit). I believe that running the installer would have displayed the port conflict and made troubleshooting easy though
