Wow, that's a crazy low price @bossman! For Android tablets we're liking the feedback (and sales) on the Intel Classmate A7 and A10 we're promoting. Further info here https://shop.very-pc.co.uk/tablet and here https://www.very-pc.co.uk/products/tablet/classmate-tablet Feel free to get in touch on [email protected] for education pricing. The A7 with it's integrated smart cover, solid Intel processing platform, fantastic VeryPC warranty and service and rugged design has been very popular. Best, Col

Yep! I'm trying to drive the process here at VeryPC. I am a firm believer in tablets for the improvement of learning / teaching, but do tend to favour laptops when anything over core-i3 processing is required. In Colin's future vision of the world, all kids have a rugged VeryPC Intel Classmate, relevant books and learning resources for their year are all available via a central government portal or school MIS Library and homework can be set, done and managed on the fly with kids having access to their teacher through a connected environment. Then there are ICT suites full of colourful VeryPC desktops, and classrooms each with a VeryPC Glide AIO connected to an interactive display. Teacher monitoring work on each tablet from the comfort of their seat with kids using the edupack contents like the thermal probe to do Science, and the micro lens acting as a visualiser , etc

LOL! Yep, we had a squirrel incident with ours too...!

Sorry to hear about this. Our dogs are our family, and I hope for the best for you. Our cocker spaniel got bit by some insect or another on her eyelid, and even that required a 2 week course of antibiotic cream at significant cost. I know our cocker will give anything a go foodwise whether it's something hard and sharp or soft and chewy, everything's fair game, so hopefully your dog's just eaten something he shouldn't have?

Hi. Studies show that the TCO of laptops is much higher than desktops. I'm a fan of either in the right circumstances and only you can determine that. Let's hope for more input from edugeekers as this is a hot topic not only for staff use but also pupil use. Best, Col

Hi there, the VeryPC Thinbook could suit. Floating keyboard so you cannot remove the keys and spares for repairs are relatively inexpensive compared. https://www.very-pc.co.uk/products/laptop/thinbook or you may want to go down the Classmate route?

Never too late, but there is a Minimum Order Quantity.

Thanks for the shout outs for VeryPC kit. We've run out of stocks several times on our AIOs as they've proven popular with no slow down in demand. They're easily serviceable, attractive, neat and tidy and add a bit of wow factor. We've even been having stickers and badges made up with end user branding for clients. Go AIO!

Iain is your mind made up on iPads? I'd love to do a comparative quote on windows tablets and a charger. By the way just googled "diy ipad charging trolley" and there's some incredible money saving ideas out there. Best, Col
