Thanks for the shout out @X-13 and @StevieM! Yes @jimbopembo we'd be happy to configure you a laptop to order; With VeryPC you can select the Wi-Fi card required, a blanking plate for no optical, etc; however whilst I agree with Stevie that the PocketRocket would be superb because of its size, it is also an incredibly powerful laptop and perhaps a little too much for what you're after. What I'd recommend is a variation of X-13s laptops; the Quad Core Bay-trail M version of our Thinbook laptop - it's 15.6", yet really light at 2Kg and thin at 12mm, and most importantly battery life is up to 9.5 hours with no performance sacrifice either with the latest Intel platform. Costs are low enough to allow for plenty of RAM and a good sized SSD for increased speed and we can spec a dual band Wi-Fi card and no optical. Feel free to get in touch if this is of interest and I'll be happy to send you a proposal - my email is on my sig. All the best, Col

When you check the exchange rate, it isn't half annoying at how much the UK is charged for the same product. For example; i5, 256GB in USA is $1289 for schools which would be £798+/- in GBP, yet the edu price for the UK model is £1097...
