  2. I read that as "this patch will work on db's from 3.61.870 to 3.62.999" - so it should be fine for your version 3.62.172, which is the latest build.
  3. @CAM - our subscription to FFT is handled by the LA so everything is being done through them. So far they seem to be handling it well!
  4. We've just been notified by our LA that the KS4 release of Aspire has been delayed until w/c 10th November - will I get a holiday this year?
  5. Back in the day it was a great night out - plenty of good bars, the 'Brick then on to the Kingsway or the Conservatory to watch "The Hit Man & Her" being filmed; these days I'd probably just head to one of the excellent golf courses. One thing I would like to try my hand at is Sand Yachting - this used to be a big thing around Southport but I never got round to having a go.
  6. Have you considered the "instant boiling water" type taps? Even the smallest capacity ones are 3l (bigger than a kettle) and use only 1.6kW. And they're a little bit geeky :-)
  7. Changed automatically - mobile phones, tablet, PC Changed manually - Central heating, microwave, cooker Take a week to change - Dog's in built dinnertime alarm
  8. Some of the images from earlier in the thread (which previously were OK) are also appearing like this.
  9. I should have refreshed before replying
  10. Try this in B2 =vlookup(a1,$j$1.$k$29,2,false) This will use the value in a1 to lookup from the table in j1.k29 and return the value in the second column. The false parameter will return only full matches.
  11. @nephilim - you do have your table of lookup values separate from the area you are trying to populate don't you? Also, the reference to the table need to be absolute or named range references, otherwise it fails when you copy it.
  12. If the LOOKUP is set as a range lookup (last parameter = TRUE) then you only need the boundaries in your lookup table.
  13. Or use a LOOKUP to return the level based on the value - we use this to convert APS points to grades.
  14. I'm not sure what you mean by "string based values" but you could convert them to values using the =value() function and from there you can use =max() or =large() functions to get the top five. There is also a =maxa() function which works on strings but no corresponding "largea" function. EDIT Having now seen your example then a pivot table is the way to go, this will count the occurrences of each value and sort them by frequency.

  21. I don't consider myself to be old, but this makes me feel ancient. At the time I was born there was nothing on, not in a modern "there's nothing on TV" way, I mean literally nothing. In those days there was only one channel and on a Sunday it didn't start until 1030.

I'm worried that my plans for a US road-trip next year will be ruined by over-reaction bourne of bigotry and ignorance. I'm not worried for my own personal safety, yet.
  24. Annual markbooks maybe, but not annual templates. You're right in your assumptions.
  25. If you do Focus / School / Academic Structure / Edit Lesson Staff and Room and search for this lesson you will see its valid dates there - I am led to believe these come from Nova.
