Following on from other thread... The Mac's were setup by the install company with bootcamp and we've install Win7 on one of them and got it up and running no problem. If we install the schools mswin software on it - what do I need to do to either Clone the whole machine to the other 14 Macs in the suite or Can I just copy the Win7 partition (the others have been partitioned already with same scheme) to the others and just alter some boot settings? regards Simon

My wife's school has a Fanbois ICT Co-ord (he's alright really ) and got 15 lovely shiney looking Mac thingys which look very pretty but we need to do some real work on them ( ) so we are sticking Win7 via bootcamp on them. But, I was wondering if there was a cheap method of getting a VM copy of the old suite XP machines up on them as well so as well? regards Simon

My attitude to this is you have a legal bought DVD and are legally allowed to play it back in a school then the technicality of the medium in which you use it is a non-issue as you will never ever get sued/fined. You should make sure that you have sufficient bought copies of a DVD to meet maximum simultaneous playback demand (e.g 3 classes want to watch Snow White on last day of term - buy 3 copies of it ) Simon

I don't think the tablet would last long after I've sat on it That's the problem - portability vs readability/usabilitly - it needs to fit in a top pocket maybe the Sensation/G2S size is the best - I'll need to try one out - all I know is that a Desire screen isnt good enough as a web/vnc/logmein device and I want to stop having to dig out a netbook/computer. To do that, they'd have to bring their laptops in and switch them on and wait for the sync whereas with dropbox type syncing to a server, as long as they leave their laptops on at home long enough to sync to the cloud then the files will be there when they get to school But I'm game for any method that minimises the effort the teacher have to do Si

I use a 50G Dropbox account to sync all my tech files(Scripts/downloads/WPKG installs etc) across all my primary school servers. At one of my schools, individual tech compentant teachers run their own dropboxes on their laptops/class PCs but in another school I'd like to setup just one account for all the teachers to use with the dropbox folder on the server and share it out to the class/staff room teacher machines. Problem being of basic dropbox on a machine (Server in my case) only works with one account. My first idea is to create a simple VM but I could do with a less resource hungry solutioni. Any ideas/anyone doing this sort of thing? regards Smon

I've pm'd you the RSS feed - can you see if it works for you? Its obvilously finding the feed (as it gets the title) and from Firebug in FF it seems to be picking up the CSS so I'd think it must be some mistake by me in the js/php Si

I need to add a horizonatal scrolling "marque" type RSS Feed to a simple HTML/PHP/Javascript hard coded 1 page site but can't seem to find some easy use code. Anyone got something I can use? The code already contains jquery so that or plain javascript would be best Ta Simon
