Ah, but is it 35 years long?
  2. Ho ho ho! Lovin' you trying to pocket the SmartBoard pen, then suddenly realising.
  3. Er... Don't have access to TV either

    Beards

That's your problem, right there - 3mm. You have to let it grow past the itchy stage. I have the problem with my head these days, which I why I have to shave it regularly. Until last year, I used nothing other than regular shampoo and conditioner. Then somebody gave me some samples from Lush and I liked them. Would definitely recommend the R&B hair moisturiser. They've also brought out a beard wash called Kalamazoo that I've not tried but had it recommended by others.
  5. Nor have I ever owned a PlayStation, or played Time Crisis. The light gun thing took me back a little further though to Tin Can Alley... which, also, I never owned. (I'm beginning to feel a little hard done-by!)
  6. Vision from the future, eh? No wonder he wished he'd never been born!
  7. Quick update on the 'Die Hard' situation. Good to my word, I started the Amazon *spit* Prime Instant Video 30-day trial on Saturday. Navigated my way to Die Hard to find that it's not included and I would have to pay an extra £2.49 to watch at 26-year-old film. I'll find someone else who can lend it to me instead. Nevermind, I thought, I'll watch that other good old holiday classic 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' instead. Er... only if I pay £2.49 for the privilege. Prime Instant Video? Slime Instant Video in my book. Grrrr.
  8. @Tesla has been given 12 licks of the cane.
  9. And will I have to start calling Melon Farmers' dogs 'Melon Collies'?
  10. You see, it's those two words right there that are the stumbling block for me - 'action movie'. Big explosions and all guns a-blazing gratify me not. But never let it be said that StevieM has a closed mind and isn't open to new experiences. I shall seek out and watch the first two movies as requested and see what I can glean from them. If I find any value contained therein, I will watch the rest. I'm eligible for a 30-day trial of Amazon *spit* Instant Video so I'll sign up for that over the hols.
  11. And those of us who have never seen Die Hard (or even have any idea of what it's about!) I know. Shocker, eh!
  12. And the incredible (quite literally!) Christmas fact. Edit: Just sent an email to @VeryPC_Ross about our Smart Sync licences. I can't help it, but every time I read the name Ross Robinson I want to say it in a Scooby-Doo voice.
  13. Ooooh! 'This video is private'. I wonder what Al and/or Will get up to in this episode...
  14. My favourite Christmas song has to be That Was The Worst Christmas Ever! from the Songs for Christmas Box Set by the genius that is Sufjan Stevens. Granted it's not one you'd want to play at the office party, (unless you wanted to send everyone home feeling miserable) but I get the shivers every time I listen to it. Just beautiful. EDIT: Just found this video that someone made for it.
  15. Gosh, that was quick! Well done, mods.
  16. What's with the girl in the box as one of the related videos???!!!
  17. ...and a partridge in a pear treeeeeee!!

You see? @VeryPC_Colin_M is so dedicated to his customers that he's still posting here at 10pm. (And I'm so prepared to back him up that I'm posting from my phone, in a pub, even later than that! )
  19. Of Gods and Men. Powerful stuff
  20. Don't want to brag (ok just a bit) but I've got 5 cards from the kids so far, including this very appropriate one from a Year 4 girl:
  21. You hear correctly, sir. Not sure whether we really want to pay for something that we currently (and have always previously) got for nothing, but it's my duty to explore all avenues and at least give the staff the option.
  22. About time you started plugging the board. It looks very nice indeed and I wish I could replace our old Unifi 45/SB600 board in our main suite with one. Just imagine that AND our Pirate PCs! You also missed an opportunity to plug your Terra Pad: Can I be unofficial 'Finger of Marketing'? EDIT: On second thoughts, scratch that idea. It would make me ineligible for future compos. 'Competition not open to VeryPC employees, families, friends or body parts!'
  23. Another good thing about the Tower of @VeryPC_Ross is that he can do ceiling installations without the aid of a step-ladder. (Am I being a bit heightist?) EDIT: I want to come and play in your demo suite!

I've just got 34 brand new @VeryPC Broadleaf Access all ready to go. They weren't the cheapest of the obligatory 3 quotes I had to obtain, but I was prepared to pay the extra for the superior build quality, 5 year warranty, green credentials, custom branding options and customer relations like you wouldn't believe. I was also able to convince the board of governors that I was right. Saying that, I did have the headteacher backing me because he just LOVES his Thinbook. Anyways, the icing on the cake came when @VeryPC_Colin_M informed me (and I don't think this is public knowledge just yet, so don't tell anyone) that I would be able to order under the Microsoft TAP scheme. This significantly reduced the initial quote and brought it to within a gnat's whisker of the cheapest quote, which offered NONE of the added extras. @VeryPC are now definitely our supplier of choice. If you've had a quote in the past and not been able to justify the additional cost, give them another go and you just may see a difference. If you've never been quoted before, I would highly recommend that you give them a shot. PS I'd post a pic of our amazing custom branding, but the kids (and most of the staff!) haven't seen it yet and they should be first. I'll take a photo when I've got the whole suite setup over the Christmas hols.
  25. Got to be honest, I wouldn't know where to start! No, our man from BMDigital came out and did it for us. He said we were due for a software update anyway and put most (if not all) of the call out fee down as part of our service contract. They look after us well.
