Speaking from previous experience, make it worth their while. There's nothing worse than having a WE person feel useless / used / bored. Make them do exciting tasks, get them curious into the world of IT. Maybe teach them a little about servers. Networking would be great. PC building is a good one too. If you develop your own little software or programs (e.g. programs on arduino) teach them a little about that. Make them feel appreciated above all!

There seems to be issues with Dayz Commander on steam? DayZ Commander Steam Install instructions :: Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead General Discussions I'd prefer to get a straight install and play asap. Well, i dunno. I think offering a appentership would be beneficial instead of a actual post. Plus, you may get someone who would be keen after 3 years to stay, and they might have the funds. I'm on about the sabertooth i bought, ie the 990fx original. At the time, it cost me £189 and was 2nd best, again behind the formula. Tech always gets better, but it doesn't mean someone has to miss out on a second grade rig :S It's all about what you can buy within your budget. Also, get off the AMD bandwaggon. Intel, as always, leads in CPU performance. The 3930k i have, and some of the i7 laptops i've used are frigging amazing!

Never knew the Sabertooth wasn't 'decent'. I'm sure it's considered one of the best boards to buy, behind the Formula.

Don't.... buy.... it. Hold out for 6 months, and the 3930k will be down by about, £100. GTX 670 will be down by a good £100 - £150. Build the damn rig yourself, you get more for your money, so i've found anyway. 8gb is basic these days, get 12 - 16. Also, I'd eat rawns without any limbs, or teeth or anything. He's beaten by me by my pure existence! AM3 board, probably about £85 - 90 as a gestimate, bulldozer around £100, and psu about £60. Have to price up properly later.
