  1. I had a Datsun 120Y which I could start and run with my house key!!
  2. Apart from me Reiki I also go camping at every opportunity in my van. Birdwatching, stargazing and fossil hunting take up a lot of my time too.
  3. My youngest has it. He had to have surgery two years ago to remove a portion of intestine. He is doing great now. What he found though was that by going on a gluten free diet his 'innards' respond better and he feels so much better. He is a nurse and the only thing he cannot really do is nightshift as the weird eating patterns makes him feel ill.
  4. @connor_ict I don't see any reason why not. In fact I would think it would be easier than getting insured on a car.
  5. Welcome to the world Millie, may your days be happy and the sun shine bright on you
  6. Totally agree @jinnantonnix I use my van for camping trips. It's a Peugeot Partner and I have my memory foam mattress in the back, portable toilet and heating lighting. This summer am planning on building a base for the bed with storage underneath. I also have an awning and it makes for a very comfortable trip. I will say however I am only 5'1 so I fit the van fine anyone taller will have problems.
  7. I am not a member of a gym or anything but I do walk miles. I think over the weekend I must have done 18 miles then also went on my bike for 5.5 miles. I just love being outside to be honest.
  8. Chrome on all the work machines and Firefox at home. Have used Firefox for years and love it.
  9. Wanted to be a policewoman (was far too short) Photographer (did this freelance for many years) Currently would like to write a book and since I retire in under 4 years this is very do-able
  10. I am a Reiki Master and have clients.
  11. Wouldn't mind having the minibuses to convert to campervans
  12. Best wishes, hope the new job is all you wish for

  14. Tup is a male sheep (ram) used for breeding with the ladies
  15. Fantastic news so happy to see one wee mite less in the system. We all here see so many children in our daily lives who are in dire need of decent care. Their lives disrupted in so many devastating ways. I was getting ready for an interview regarding fostering but it landed the same week I was diagnosed a couple of years ago and your news has given me the kick up the backside to maybe give them a call and see about it again. Well done @GrumbleDook
  16. That is fantastic. Would love a trip in one of these
  17. Aye I think I might jump the Metro and head along

  20. Radio 2 in the car and office but Smooth radio in bed at night (it kills the tinitus in my ears so I can sleep)
  21. We as licence fee payers are his employer? Frankly if there was violence in the workplace (which if proved) is exactly that is what it should be classed as it totally unacceptable on any level. If indeed this is what happened then he should fired or will the Beeb treat him differently from any other member of public who acted in this way. Mind having just said that I would not be surprised given all that has transpired within their ranks in recent years!!
  22. Fly high @Sunnyknight reach for the sky. Grab your dream and run with it we are only here the once
