@rad have you sneaked into my kitchen on batch cooking days I do this too as living alone means you could get lazy foodwise. I never learnt how to cook for one so I buy and cook like I still had my lads at home. I can get roughly 12 dinners from the 3 for a tenner butcher meat deals. Cooking doesn't need to be complex it just needs to be wholesome and tasty.

In 99 I was working in the jail. I remember the hogmanay night and our Depute Governor wanted me to work night-shift in case the Millenium Bug got our machines! It was loads extra money for one shift and paid my holiday later that year! Result! -

No just because the new software has a pretty picture on the case does not mean it is compatible with our system! Ripping jammed paper out of a printer is a sure fire way for it not to work afterwards Muttering, mumbling or asking rudely/aggressively will NOT get your email/user account reset -
This is the one I used. I get most from online and try them out This resulting cake is a lovely moist and sticky gingerbread that is popular with both adults and children: perfect to accompany a steaming mug of your favourite Clipper tea whilst standing round the bonfire on Guy Fawkes Night. Bread machines with the Bake only option are handy for making an easy cake; somehow, it seems much less effort than using the oven and it’s more economical on electricity. Bread machines aren’t cut out for light-as-a-whisper sponge cakes, but they can help you bake a very good loaf or bar-type cake based around dried fruit, ginger and so on. This recipe is suitable for machines with the Bake only option with a timer for adding extra time as necessary. If you don’t have a bread machine, you can make this cake in a conventional oven: pour the mixture into a greased, and preferably lined, 450g loaf tin and bake at 160C (fan ovens) or equivalent for approximately 45 minutes until a skewer inserted comes out clean. 50g dark brown sugar 4 tablespoons golden syrup 2 tablespoons black treacle 2 teaspoons mixed spice 3 teaspoons ground ginger 150ml cold water 110g butter, diced 225g plain flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 medium eggs, lightly beaten Remove the mixing blade and grease the bread pan. Line the bottom of the bread pan with greaseproof paper: invert the pan on top of your paper and draw round it, avoiding the handle. Cut round the lines and snip a few cuts round the edges of the paper to enable it to lie flat against the sides of the pan. Settle the paper into the bottom of the pan and press over the blade spindle, smoothing the edges flat. Put the sugar, golden syrup, black treacle, spices and water into a roomy pan. Heat over a moderate heat until everything has melted and the sugar has dissolved. Add the butter. Continue to heat until the butter has melted. Add the baking powder to the weighed flour. Leave the sugar mixture until almost cold and, using a sieve; gradually stir in half the flour and baking powder a little at a time with a wooden spoon. Add the eggs, one at a time with a little more flour, and mix in. Add the remaining flour gradually, stirring it in as you go. Pour the mixture carefully into the prepared bread pan, being sure to keep pouring into the middle so that the mixture spreads out of its own accord and stays on top of the greaseproof paper. Select the Bake only programme and enter 1 hour on the timer. Test with a skewer. If the cake isn’t done, close the lid smartly and enter another 5 or 10 minutes on the timer. Make a note for the next time. When the cake is ready, switch off the machine and remove the bread pan but leave the cake in the bread pan to settle for 10 minutes or so. After that time it should have started to contract away from the sides of its own accord. Protect one hand with a cloth and put your other hand carefully inside the bread pan and support the cake with your outspread fingers as you turn the bread pan upside down. The cake should come out easily. Peel away the greaseproof paper and finish cooling on a wire rack. Once completely cold, store in an airtight tin. This recipe is taken from ‘Fresh Bread and Bakes from your Bread Machine’ by Sue Simkins, out now.

@pcstru my hernia is the one at the top of the stomach up into the gullet. Hopefully yours is one of the ones lower down. Try not to worry and go get it fixed.

Oooh that is so bad @Garacesh lol

Seems it was a big flare up of my Haitus Hernia but it caused severe chest pain. Thing was it came right out of the blue!! Mind you the gas and air in the ambulance was pretty groovy!! I am fine today though very tired, so an having a rest day and back to work tomorrow.

I was rushed in yesterday from work with chest pain. All hooked up to machines for most of the day. Fortunately it was not my heart. That said the care was only ok even in the resus ward where I spent hours on my own. Finally moved to another ward and left again. Out of 8 hours in there I had to ask for a cup of tea at the 7 hour mark as was very dehydrated. Glad to be home now and resting up today. Am not sure how I could accurately fill a 'recommend' form. This was the hospital local to me but think given a choice I would opt for the better one in town.

Every Teaching class has a PC plus all the teachers have an iPad and Apple telly in the rooms. Very few have laptops as most of our laptop stock is now very old and most unusable nowadays. We also have Google docs and all reports are done on sims.

Counselling. Experiences? Can't see how it can help.
ButterflyMoon replied to TheGrumblingTech's topic in General Chat
I too have had counselling mine included talking as others said but had a counsellor who challenged me on some of the things I was saying. I needed that aspect mind you. She also did TFT (tapping) with me and it was amazing. Have a look on youtube for tapping for anxiety and give it a go while your waiting for your appointment. The mere fact you have opened up in here is the first step in your recovery even if you didn't realise it. -
I will be there all day Saturday. Witch has my number as my mobile is not a smartphone so can't do whatsapp. Mid morning suits me best as I have to get back to Newcastle early evening for the dog
