  1. We are looking at this also. Great for the patch management side. Not sure if the pricing is likely to mean we can move ahead though…
  2. Some Cyber insurance quote ask for it, although not sure if it affects the premium at all!
  3. Yep check schedule tasks on the machine it runs from. Then just kick the task off manually whenever you want to force it.
  4. I use Cloudiway for this. It’s a product but include the consultancy needed for the SharePoint/Teams migration stuff.
  5. Potentially your old system was only 2.4Ghz and the new is 5Ghz. 2.4Ghz will travel further and will penetrate was better. Have you taken this up with who install the system?
  6. I have it working. I’m sure that if you disable it anywhere then that will disable it full stop. In the tenant settings I have it not configured and then I use policies to either enable or disable for the different user groups
  7. Email [email protected] if you haven’t already and they will sort you out.
  8. You will need to use the version that comes with the device but the A3/A5 license will then upgrade it for that user to Enterprise. It must be Pro installed for use with Intune.
  9. We buy these now as our go to core for all schools. Replacements to the MS350 range.
  10. You can download Windows direct from Microsoft now, that’s what we do. Whether we use it for our Intune devices or add the ISO to other deployment methods
  11. MDT will use the local admin account to do stuff so you need to login as that to see what is happening. Are you trying to view it remotely?
  12. How are you rebooting? MDT must perform the reboot, you can’t reboot from command line. A screenshot of your TS would help
  13. It should login, do all the steps and then perform the final step which is either shutdown, restart or logout based on the CustomSettings.ini
  14. They aren’t trying to install before Office has finished are they? Try disabling the Office step and see if the others install
  15. Use MS forms and Power Automate. That’s what we do. Could even be one form that changes questions based on selecting the school from a drop down

  17. Exeter area. Although happy to post
  18. I have the following switches for sale. Unsure what they are worth though. Happy to take offers: J9856A - 2530-24G 2SFP+ J9855A - 2530-48G 2SFP+ J9850A - 5406R zl2 Switch 2x J9827A - 5400R zl2 Management Module J9990A - 20p GigT J9535A - Gig-T/SFP v2 zl Mod J9853A - 2530-48G PoE+ 2SFP+ JL259A - 2930F
  19. Won’t lose anything. Even if you unlicensed you have 30 days to re-license to get it back. I would create a new AD group for the A3 users (if not already) and assign that group the A3 license. Then remove these users from the group assigning A1. If it’s a group you can’t remove them from, create a specific A1 group and put the users you want in there, and the users you want A3 in the new group. Then remove the A1 assignment to the original group for all. A1 users will get A1, A3 will get A3. Any direct assignment may need to be manually removed
  20. Only problem with the K9 is it is USB-A and many of our devices do not have these port any more. The dual USB-A/USB-C models would be better but seem more expensive.
  21. Might be looking at around 1400 of them so might be worth buying a few first to see how they work
  22. I assume these can be re-allocated should a student leave? Which model do you use. The SafeID/Classic seems a good option
  23. Looking to purchase some tokens to use with MFA to use instead of mobile phones. To be used with 365. Can anyone recommend a solution for this?
  24. What is the decision to use SE even if you can? If you’re running hardware capable of full Windows then you may as well use it? As far as I am aware SE isn’t a downloadable OS and therefore will only install on hardware that is was shipped with. Not sure you will even get it on a SP[emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji639]]. Intune fully support SE, it’s more SE not supporting a lot which is why not many have shifted to it. For example, the only programs you can install must come from the store and be approved by Microsoft for SE.
  25. Is the UPN and the Email field correct in AD? Do these users have any ProxyAddresses set?
