Also used CDM from IAM Cloud at my previous place. Yes, took some time getting it set up and get folder redirection working properly but the support guys at IAM Cloud were really helpful. Staff took to it quicker than the sync client as having a mapped drive was more familiar.

We've recently migrated a file shares from a 2008r2 server to 2019 server. Just a lift and shift of the drives and reconfigure the shares. Everything is working except scanning to one folder... We have two scan to network folders set up, one for teaching staff and one for the admin staff Both on the same server, both with the same share permissions and both with the same security permissions. However, scanning to the folder for the teaching staff is working fine but scanning to the admin staff is not and I'm a little stumped. We're putting the settings in to PaperCut and we've also tried it directly in to the Sharp copier address book settings. Hoping anyone on here may have some ideas? Thanks.

I second InTune, ties nicely in to O365 if you have it. Need to invest a bit of time to get it all set up and working properly but it's not bad.

Cool. Yeah we're all up to date with Windows 10, up to date with Office as well. Have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the solution we're running at the moment, just the SSO bit is the last bit that is being particularly difficult and it's the bit all users grumble about. My only worry being that if it's not right for us, we've still got our users somehow registering local domain devices in AAD. Cheers for the tips though, will report back when we've had a good look at it.

So, are you saying that setting up Hybrid Azure AD is the way to resolve this and am I being a bit fussy about seeing our local domain devices in azure ad? The main issue we're trying to resolve is the seamless single sign-on isn't working properly. It works fine in the browsers but is a bit poop when it comes to Office and mapping SharePoint/OneDrive, which we are using IAM Cloud for.

Not sure which forum this fits into, so if this isn't correct please move... I am absolutely tearing my hair out with this one! Looking in to why our Azure AD Seamless Single Sign-On working properly had led me to believe that for some reason this was happening: "If you have enabled both Azure AD Join and Seamless SSO on your tenant, ensure that the issue is not with Azure AD Join. SSO from Azure AD Join takes precedence over Seamless SSO if the device is both registered with Azure AD and domain-joined. With SSO from Azure AD Join the user sees a sign-in tile that says "Connected to Windows". We did start using Hybrid Azure AD Join as we were going to to it for our mobile devices, we decided to not pursue it so I disabled this GPO to stop it happening: "Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Device Registration" To my memory we haven't set up Hybrid Azure AD join in Azure AD Connect and when I look at the settings, it tries to step me through the process to set it up. However, we're still getting that "Connected to Windows" pop up AND we have a ton of domain devices registered in Azure AD and I cannot fathom why! Please help!

I have one installation of Spiceworks set up and is being used by 4 different departments. It send the tickets to the department depending on what email address the ticket is sent to.

We're wanting to use the Smoothwall Connect filter but there seems to be an issue in our Chrome Profiles, we are using G-Suite for Education to manage this, that seems to be stopping it from working. The Smoothwall Connect filter works fine in Internet Explorer and a Guest in Chrome which leads us to believe it is something being managed by G-Suite. I've had a comb through our Chrome settings but there isn't anything jumping out at me. Just wondering if there is anyone in the same situation as us that could point me in the right direction. What was the web filter policy you created to do this? Trying to see how I could fit on in with the rest of our policies.

I think we've downloaded Microsoft's entire catalogue in the last 24 hours. On a more positive note our bandwidth is only hitting 80 Mbit/s this morning so hopefully we're past the worst of it.

We're on 1709, not making a difference! We're quite lucky in that we were due to upgrade our pipe early next year, we brought it forward a few months and have upgraded to 500Mb/s, so we've stuck bandwidth limiting to 100Mb/s on those URLs during school hours and then during the night it goes to town. May try whitelisting for the WSUS only though as well.
