Hi We have now got our new backup server for our virtual and physical environment, we are using a mix of veeam and backup exec 2010. I am just in the process of setting it up and was after any suggestions for best performance speed, we have a tl2000 tape library hung of this via sas for archive. The Server has 24tb of raw storage in it and 1 x quad nic and 2 x onboard. Thanks in advance

We had a problem with our switches on the network, it was different versions of stp on the network. We disable all stp and we found a loop. When we removed this all problems were solved no more restarting switches....

Just for some select staff, the vpn will allow us into the LA, then they will forward this to our ts server? I would like the staff to be able to get network drives sims.net applications? Thanks

Hi We are looking to change our backup solution. We currently have backup exec looking after the file server and mis etc. We are running veeam to look after the vms and the veeam file then goes to tapes. The problem we have is that our backup exec 11d server is taking a long time to backup and write to tape. The server only has 1 nic and a pv124t lto2 drive in it. Any recomendation? Thanks

Hi We are having problems wit our mail core switch, its two netgear switches in a stack. The problem we are experiencing is that this will random reboot and another switch with a lag also reboots. All the switches are layer 3 and none of the remote switches connected to this stack reboot? I have enable rstp on the stack and the remote switches, the problem is that I have to manually disable stp on the core switch on the port or it doesnt work. Thanks
