Hi All, Does anyone have a blackberry storm, what do you think? i'm currently looking at changing from my n95. I have read all the reviews about the pants battery life, which has now been fixed. Can you use bbc iplayer website on the blackberry? Can it take a 16Gb MicroSD card? Thanks

Hi Lucy, It's better to have it hosted external from a parents point of view, as a parent will have a single login but can get information about there child(ren) if they are at different schools. Is your LA looking at hosting SLG version? Our is and the coats are a lot less than what capita quote. SLG only really tackles the issue of reporting to parents that needs to be in place by 2010. But with a few more moodle mods we could add whats required.

Hi Lucy, If you are only looking at buying SLG so you can integrate moodle, personally i would save £9500, have a look at Integrate Moodle, LDAP and SIMS.net - MoodleDocs These instruction will cover most of your point and the cost is Free. If you are having SLG for other reasons then you have have it hosted off site at a cheaper cost and the above instructions will still work.

Thanks apeo, I have had a look at your changes and i think I will be able to incorporate into code quite easily so the module supports both 1 week and 2 week timetables. does anyone else have a use case of a timetable setup? -
I doubt your school has timetabled the registration period. a question to ask your timetabler. if it not then $period should be $periods = array("" => 1,"1" => 2,"2"=> 3,"3"=> 4,"4"=> 5,"5"=> 6,"6"=> 7,""=> 8,""=> 9);

I will updating the documentation to include the requirement to edit the timetable labels in the module. Hopefully if people can post the labels they use, i will try can write the module to auto detect the the required label configuration. -

how is moodle setup? is it on linux or windows? if you have access to add view you will be able to reset the sa password, but hang fire until you have answered the above. If your setup is on windows then you need a slight adjustment.
