Well depend on the quality of them we replace stuff as we need to and it seems to work fine for us. we did upgrade some of our switches because we have expanded but i still have the old ones onsite in case we ever need them if anything breaks down but if you are getting rid of any thing i would always be glad to take them off your hands

well i would try reimaging the computer maybe some kind of windows fault DAM WINDOWS unless your GPU is on its way out is it on board Graphicks or card

Hi Well when i ran the upgrade at my school the client that did not logoff they crashed and upgrade on the server happened smoothley then clients then upgraded so all was sweet jtoland

Hi Guys i am wondering if any of you know how to show the username in php of a logged on computer user this is for a intranet system i am working on so students/staff dont have to login to the system when they are in the school and automaticaly brings there infomation up depending what there username is jtoland

hi i have recently just got a job at a primary school and i have had some of the same problems except the backup we currently use Online Backup Service for Business but i am thinking of moving to my own servers and manage my own backups as i run webhosting aswell if you wish to manage your own backup then i could offer you a solution that would be realy good to your school

hi you can do this as long as youa dont hold students data on there but there are other ways of doing this if so just ask and i can give u a company that will make the form for u and it will be stored onto a databace held on one of your school servers or evan one of theres for you to use

Hi guys i am new to sims and have never used the system I recently moved sims to a virtuial server and i did this by cloning the hard drive and making it virtuial but i now how come accross some problems a week down the line The problem is that the workstations now do not always connect to Sims or FMS and when it dose it runs realy slow it might be that the ip of the server has changed i dont know. but the network locations are still the same so we can connect using \\server1\simsdir The workstations are ran on 32 bit windows 7 i dont know why they are running 32 bit but i will be reinstalling them once i have a solution why sims is not connecting and the configuration.ini file seems to be linked up properley Tt the moment i have got the users to rdp to the server and it works fine on there Can any one please help me

yes it would work but u have to seperate the cables carefully and dont get the 2 cables mixed with each other
