Attached screenie shows what it's waiting for - just testeed again in work and it took 3 mins to fully load.

Hi Zerohour also checked with Vista Ultimate x64 at home and IE7 32 & 64 bit work fine. btw was it me you wanted a screenie off?
-
Must be something to do with 64bit then as I'm running 64bit XP, IE7 64 & 32bit display the time delay although as I say Firefox is fine no issues.
-
Weird problem for me anyway - Edugeek takes 4 minutes to load in IE7 been like this since the Bett show webcam was on the homepage, works fine in Firefox which is no bad thing I prefer Firefox anyhow. Attached screenie is after 2 mins and still loading.

They've just pulled the same trick in Liverpool:mad: Kids crack firewall to view porn in schools - Liverpool Echo.co.uk Virtually the same word for word as the Manchester article:censored:

Had something similar a while ago cured it by repairing winsock, by type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt retart is required. Worked for me:) Dave

Had the same problem with server 2008 on a virtual machine at home, this was just after install and running windows update, and been ongoing for a while, put it down to being virtual, now beginning to think it's an update of some kind messing the system up. Gotta love microsoft:mad:

Doesn't time fly when you're enjoying your self:) :censored: Teachers are worse than the kids anyway. We've got two inset days before the little people come back, two days for the teacher to throw all the summer work into confusion, (what do you mean you wanted it there!!!).

Walking to the far side of the school because you've been informed that a computer wont boot only to find the F***ing teacher has her USB pen in and the PC is trying it's best to boot from that.
-
Or as we were told once ("the building must have moved with the heat") causing loss of link. Still laugh about that....

Pendrive Linux Run Linux from within Windows without rebooting | Portable Pendrive Linux | USB Pen Drive Linux Works for me.

Liverpool's BSF is under LDL stewardship - who? I hear you cry. Liverpool Direct Limited closely allied to Liverpool City Council - GOD help us all !!!!!!!!!
-
Thanks going to look at testing it next week - Looks promising:)
-
Where? I would be interested in testing such a module.
-
The only problem with the spread of BSF is there is no cure currently available

The only time ISA has done that to me was when I tried to install it on a DC, on a member server it's always installed fine. It appeared to conflict with AD for some unknown reason. Although I have to say I've never used VMware only MS virtual server and it's installed fine on that as a member server.
-
Anyone?? or am I looking at an uninstall - reinstall situation?
-
yep all the isa settings look fine and as I say it has operated fine since install and I had used the HTTP filter to try to block out messenger after install, so it was working. seriously puzzled :?
-
Hi Rick thanks for that. Maybe I was unclear so I apologise, the default rule for net access we have included the HTTP filter, always has, it has now gone disappeared, vanished. Hence my problem, and question how do I get it back?
-
We're running a windows 2003 r2 server with isa server 2006 acting as our proxy, this is not a DC as it doesn't need to be and causes major issues if it is. Everything working fine no issues, I thought, teacher comes to me "I need to access this site but it is being blocked" thinking it is a PICNIC (problem in chair not in computer) problem I go to have a look and fair enough isa is blocking the site HTTP filter. So getting back to the isa box and going to configure the HTTP filter to allow the site I find to my horror that the HTTP filter is not there to configure, it shows in the configuration-addins- web filters but not when you go to a firewall rule. Help!!!! any ideas would be gratefully accepted.
