Duplicate mailboxes created in Office 365

As I said, it did today during the call, which was good because the guy from microsoft saw it happen first hand, as we were screen sharing at the time.. -
Duplicate mailboxes created in Office 365
DaveJ2717uk replied to supportman's topic in Cloud Services
Literally just put the phone down after a call with microsoft (#14480657) They had managed through their backend to remove the duplicate instances. We then went through the process of adding the email in AD and syncing, Office 365 admin single user created - problem solved...... not so much! Checked exchange admin duplicate users are back..... After running many, many powershell scripts and emailing them the transcript files again I am no further... -

Currently have an open case with microsoft regarding this same error. So far they have had no luck in either removing the duplicate or both... -

Been using classcharts here staff and students for a couple of years, no hassle at all. from my side. The logins for students are printed out and given to form tutors to give out to pupils and the parent codes are sent out with instructions on how to login/register. in that two years I've have to give pupils their passwords 3 times, and talk a parent through clicking on the forgottem password link on the website once. Been really straightforward from my side, our office might tell you a different story:)

Fantastic if pointless and unhelpful answer............. Perhaps if you read the question I'd asked, you would have seen me state that i'd seen registers that I knew had been taken and showed as taken in lesson monitor stay in this list all day, still going to blame the teacher?
-
Sorry if this is a simple question, but , new to sims. Our attendance officer is regularly checking the missing register notification and messaging the affected staff to tell them to take their registers, only to be told their done and after checking they are, but not being removed from the notification area Question is how often does this notification area update? does it actually update? (think we've been told every 10 minutes) but I've seen registers sit in this area all day even with opening it and refreshing the window.. Causing her a nightmare as SLT are getting on her back about it..

Have been asked an interesting question by an ofsted inspector. If a foreign language student does a bad web search in his native languages does it get blocked? Answer I gave was yes, for those doing a search using the four most popular and most used search engines Bing, Google Yahoo and Ask is yes those searches will be blocked as the web filter(smoothwall) forces safe search on all of those no matter what language the search is attempted in. But does it? and what about other less popular search engines dog pile etc.? Might be an over reaction but thought it worth a question..
