  1. They always said that to get a CSE grade 1 was harder than a C in 'O' level. We were made to do both CSE and 'O' level for subjects where they thought we may or may not pass the 'O' level. Remember geting a CSE 1 in Eng Lit but only a D in 'O' level.
  2. Well done, I got an A/S through the OU in my early 50's after failing 'O' level/CSE maths numerous times.

  5. Love the school holidays as I can setup my trail cam in different spots in the school grounds. Were not rural, but just outside of the town centre. We had one of these on site in the summer but was glad to see it paying us a visit in half term.

  14. Hi, we use locker to create teams from our MIS (BROMCOM) which is fine until we come to Y10/11 and Y12/13 For those years the Y10 or Y12 teams is populated but then the next year they are over written, the same happens for Y11 and Y13 What we want to achieve is the Y10 and Y12 teams being promoted upwards the next year to Y11 and Y13 and new Y10/12 groups created who will be promoted next year. What we find is that new groups are created and of course all of the old files/links and messages are left in an old archived group rather than carrying upwards to the new group. Anyone come across this (if i've explained it properly)?
  15. Fixed!!!! The answer is in the manual but it doesn't really make it clear what to do. Turn off the unit with the rocker switch and unplug. WAIT at least 10 minutes if not a little bit more. Plug it back in and turn on with the rocker switch Wait a minute then the red power light will come on Simples
  16. Hi, we have 3 of these in the school and today we had 2 short power-cuts within minutes of each other. All three of these projectors now won't work. There is no power light on them even though the power to the projector is working. Anyone know if there is some setting that needs fiddling with when they have been switched off without powering down.

  18. So no kids or staff so I put out my trail camera and some cat food to see what I could see last night. Magpie filled its boots and a cat came along but finally I got a shot of this rather stunning fox.
  19. As per my post 22nd September, our hub site had associated sites linked via the hub menu. Each sub site was a communication site with web links, diaries and document libraries secured with O365 group permissions. I've had the problem with the OneDrive client, i suppose one way around it would be to link Sharepoint via File Explorer in the traditional File share way so that they can use the 'T' drive to navigate to the teachers document library. This link explains the different options and why - https://sharepointmaven.com/4-types-of-sites-in-sharepoint-online/
