Mosyle MDM - Some iPads aren't supervised
LeMarchand replied to Renfield-123's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Could be wrong, @Brimstone is the iPad guy/fan on here, but it sounds like you may be using an older process that still works. My "iPad" school has never paid for an app, but they are "bought" in ASM and added to Mosyle there. Assuming everything has already been set up correctly (some certificates are needed to properly link ASM and Mosyle), process goes something like: Buy iPads. Add to ASM. IIRC you can get the supplier to do this, or at least all you need is a supply number. Assign devices to Mosyle in ASM. Turn on iPad and connect to Wi-Fi. Mosyle intercepts the setup, pushes itself onto the pad and then configures it the way you have specified, installing apps as appropriate. After a reasonably short time, iPads are ready to issue. Teachers complain that there MUST be a way to install on the iPad as it's in their lesson plan. Someone should have a "master" type account unless it has never been set up. -
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (Cinema) Reasonably entertaining, but could have done with fewer fight scenes. I did enjoy the world-building in the Hollow Earth. If anyone sees it, look at The Colosseum at the end of the film.

Mosyle MDM - Some iPads aren't supervised

It may be different if you have Configurator, but I was under the impression that all devices had to be in ASM and then assigned from there to your MDM. This is what it looks like in our Mosyle: -

Are they assigned to Mosyle in Apple School Manager? -

Freelance (Amazon Prime) John Cena plays an ex-special ops guy who gets lured back in for one "easy" protection job. Bit of an 80s throwback, and not really worth your time. Even Cena seems a little embarrassed to be in such schlock. Bottoms (Amazon Prime) TRAILER FULL OF LOUD SWEARING AND ALL SORTS OF NSFW GOINGS ON. Two high school losers form a "fight club" in the hope that it will enable them to get with the girls of their dreams. VERY sweary but fun comedy. Loses steam a bit when the friends inevitably fall out for a while, but recovers for the final act. Not a "must see" but if the trailer appeals, it's worth a look.

Inspired by the unbelievable true story, a strait-laced professor (Glen Powell) uncovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man in undercover police stings. He meets his match in a client (Adria Arjona) who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities. From Academy Award-nominated writer/director Richard Linklater and co-written by Glen Powell, HIT MAN comes to select theatres in May and only on Netflix June 7.

[movie trailer] Next Stop Paris (An AI generated short movie)
LeMarchand posted a topic in TV & Movies
TCL, best known for their reasonably priced but generally well reviewed TVs, are getting into the movie game with an AI generated short romcom. It's written by real peeps and featuring motion captured models (allegedly). -

Just had an email about a laptop that comes Now, I know that some laptops no longer have an Ethernet port to save space, but it's hardly "advanced". -
Wingwomen (Netflix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Au9Uz4_H6zA A couple of thieves decided that it's time to retire, but their boss sends them on one last job. Starring, directed by and adapted from a comic series by Mélanie Laurent, this is a fun romp. The ending/epilogue is a bit of a cheat to engender the feels but worth a look if the trailer has grabbed your attention.

Yes, this is very picky but, for reasons I'll go into in the "What annoying things..." thread later, I was not a happy bunny. The bottom squiggle is for the change in font size and lack of capitals for the Thai dish. Can you spot any mistakes I've missed? One you won't be able to spot is that either their catering packs were incorrectly labelled, of someone didn't know the difference between Beef Bourguignon and braised beef. -

I see a lot of this firm's vehicles about, mainly, somewhat appropriately, just sat there. Why would you name your firm something that makes it sound as if your staff don't really do a lot?Google reviews suggest that perhaps it's safer for all concerned when their vehicles aren't moving, though. -
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (Cinema) OK, but totally forgettable. My main memory of it was that the screen hasn't had heating for a while, and they'd removed the heater, presumably to give a more immersive experience.

Another one who's started in on 3 Body Problem. Enjoying it so far, but only seen the first two eps. Not read the books, but it feels like the decision to make it more international was a good one. Odd to see so many people smoking in a show, though. Also Dave & Dan couldn't resist getting some T&A in there with the "rehydration" scene.
