Just checked it on the client laptop- it is set to grab it automatically. The dns address, is the server address.

No they are not - I point them to the opendns addresses, could this be the problem then?

Hi all, I decided to build a small network at home because I wanted to learn more. I have installed Small Business Server 2003 on an old pent 4 machine, since moving across to the server the internet speed just hasn't been the same - it's been alot slower. The server controls the DHCP now, as I've turned it off on my router. I've got me and my girlfriends laptops as clients. Is the internet generally slow because of the old pent4 I am using as a server?? Any suggestions would be great.

I have heard of SpamAssassin - but never used it, any good? Can anyone recommended a preferably free spam filter for outlook or a solution. We have a few members of staff getting Spam through. Cheers

Hi, I have a bootable CD for a server which is missing some drivers. How can I edit this image - add the 2 drivers and remount it back on to the cd so it'll still be bootable? I've got the full version of Magic ISO but I am not having much luck.

Hi all, Just configured a Sonicwall TZ 180, my first with no previous experience. All seems fine, then I notice that the Wireless isn't working. (Our router has built in wireless) I can't ping the router address either or gain access to the interface. Router isn't acting as DHCP, server does that. But it is functioning as there is internet activity. I can't seem to find anything within the Sonicwall interface, can anyone help?

Hi all, I have a Asus A8V Motherboard which I am trying to flash as I am getting CPU errors. I have downloaded AFUDOS and A8V-0229.rom and placed them on a floppy. I run the command: AFUDOS /IA8V-0229.ROM /OTEST It reads the flash - but keeps coming up with this error: ERROR: ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID I have the correct ROM file as downloaded from ASUS website and even tried older versions, but still getting the same error. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Domino can you advise me on disabling users from installing apps

It was already in place when I got here. It's by a company called Bloxx. Doesn't appear to be that good. I have disabled exe files in it, and it doesn't seem to do a good job on that either. Would disabling EXE files from running in group policy be a wise move?
