Allocating all the "version number packages" might have been a mistake. I allocated to the rebuilt stations but only rebooted one of them; it's taking an age so I've deallocated from the other rebuilt stations. It struck me it might be all of my packages have been additionally re-listed as their version; those which have been installed OK and those which haven't. There are 47 of them in all.

I've recently rebuilt some CC3 XP3 workstations and added them using SmartClient. I've since noticed that a bunch of the Main Site packages did not roll out and, on closer inspection, those packages are not actually listed anywhere as allocated. I know they have been because I remember doing it and they're installed everywhere else. I've also realised that the package description for these packages (a lot of 2Simple but also some others) is the version number of the package and not the package description (which should be the folder name in the Applications folder). Anyone seen anything like this before and know of a fix? I've actually allocated the packages as listed in RMMC (ie by their version number) and they seem to be rolling out to the affected workstations but I'm interested as to why this might have happened. Hi, I have a couple of users who are only seeing the "internal" out of office option in Outlook 2010; there is no option for sending an out of office externally. They have Windows XP SP3 installed on their machines. I've removed Office and reinstalled. We're running with Exchange 2003 on a Server 2003 domain. We have many other such architectures in our LEA with no problems. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. Regards, Paul.

I'm not seeing the "Outside My Organisation" tab on the Automatic Replies dialog. We're running Office 2010 on Windows 7 PCs with Exchange 2003. I've tried Pro Plus and Standard versions of the software. Is there an Exchange setting? Can't find anything on the internet. Any help greatly appreciated. Paul.

My Server 2003 machine appears to be having it's network card DNS address set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I know that's google dns but I haven't set the card's dns to that; we use SEGfL / RMs forwarders, 62.171.198.104 and 105. Is it possible that a virus / malware infection could be causing this? Can I monitor this in event viewer; what would be the event ID? Regards, Paul Vernon.

I have tried that, thanks. That always works, as does setting the time of the scheduled task for a few minutes hence.

Windows 2003 Server Standard, SP2; HP Proliant ML115 with a HP DAT72 USB drive installed. Driver is version 1.7.0.2, dated 19/5/09. I have daily backups, created using the NTBackup Add Job function. They all have /um appended and the /n option removed. The backups are set to run as administrator at 20:00 on a small server which is logged in as the administrator user at all times. The scheduled tasks appear to run but are stopped after 30 seconds or so. Nothing is recorded in the event log. There is a backup log but there is nothing in it. I can set the time for each scheduled task to a few minutes time and they run. I have just set up batch files to run the code created (and subsequently modified by me) by Add Job ... I'll see if they work. Don't know what to look at next!

Anyone experiencing problems with attaching files to e-mail in OWA on a rangered PC? It would appear that anything up to about 125kB is fine but anything over that just sees the "Attachements - Web Page dialog" screen hang. I did try using the S/MIME Control and this seemed to make things better but OWA crashed when the e-mail was sent. I have removed Ranger and the attachments are fine. PCs are RM Ecoquiets; XP SP3, OS pretty well up to date. Paul Vernon Bracknell Forest
