Finally found it. It's an odd one though and neither of us understand why it has made a difference. We removed the Rem'd out bits from our login.bat script. No black screens after logins.

Help! I've been informed that a student needs a blue tint to their screen. I'm assuming this is done via accessibilities somewhere, I've looked, I've googled and I can't find anything bar people who have a fault on their monitor. Has anyone else needed this or know where the setting is? It'd need to be applied every time he logged in so I'm guessing via profiles or a gpo. TIA

It works as a admin (full control of the C drive) I've looked in the logs and it just states the GPO has been applied (which it clearly hasn't). @bossman Yes, to be fair it installed great, it just won't open!

Ofsted are in today and tomorrow, cue mass panic on site. We've been asked to install 4Matrix to all teacher computers which is done, however staff need full access rights to the folder. I thought it was simply sorted by GPO - Computer config - windows settings - file system and adding the path/setting permissions... But it’s not working. Am I missing something really obvious?

You'd think so @Sagima but not always. I know someone who was put away for something really small, for 10 days, they were sharing with a person who raped a baby. Intergration so you aren't seen putting them with people 'like themselves'

I think it's mainly the media. Too many people believe what they read. THe only people in prisons are murders, rapists, pedos, druggies... They all have xboxs and beautiful meals every day.... In reality if you've ever had to visit someone there, its far, far from the truth. Grotty, smelly places, full of rats and damp. It's far from a holiday camp and some really don't deserve to be in there. I have a friend who's locked up basically for being ill, they can't get his meds right and he has a mental illness, they can't get him into a mental hospital as there is no beds/he's not priority when there are, for the last 3 years he's been in prison, he's never hurt anyone... They really aren't all 'badies'

Thats a fairly common way people see it though Goodies vs badies but sometimes its just a bad deal at life

Surely that’s just it, it has to, to a point, depend upon the crime and if they are a reoffender rather than a blanket ban? Some of the reasons people get locked up is incredibly sad
