We had to have the power shut down in a block where one of my cluster disks is stored, in prep for this I shut down the VM's attached to the cluster disk and powered down the array holding the cluster disk. When the power came back on I brought back up the array the ISCSI connections re-established but the disk shows offline/or online pending in cluster manager and in disk manager on the owning host just shows basic disk reserved with no details as in the pic below. I just can not seem to get the disk online, it's definitely something to do with the cluster management as I can connect to the array from a normal machine and it works fine. Any help/pointers appreciated. EDIT: I have tried releasing the reservation using Clear-ClusterReservation but it does nothing to change it.

I was wondering how others remote manage their networks, we currently use an RDS Gateway which for me has access to remote desktop app but I was wondering if there was a better (paid for or not) way to remote administer all my servers and network. We have been lucky so far in that my team has not had to self isolate but if it happens I would like to be assured that I could carry out the majority of functions remotely. Cheers

I got it added to my MS agreement for our iPads for £600, unlimited devices as it's based on FTE staff.

I bought Intune on my EES agreement cost around £600 quid for the year with unlimited devices based on number of FTE staff. I used it to manage the 100 odd iPads we got from the DfE but will look to do more with it later.

I have a user who is unable to run a report she needs every week, when she goes to run the report she gets the error "unable to write to file for viewing in browser". She has the same permission set as other Year Heads who can run the report and she is in as a local admin on the machine so she should have no access problems writing to the local drive. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.

We do the same thing, normal webcam is more than sufficient, the only extra thing we do is put an active USB on the webcam so we can position it on top of the SmartBoard. We use this method for when a teacher is isolating so they can continue teaching their class as normal.

I plumped for Microsoft Intune as my MDM, it's brilliant, £600 a year on my EES agreement for unlimited devices.

Me to, I have 120 DFE iPads arriving Monday haha no pressure.

Hi all, I have been Happily using Configurator 2 to setup my ipads for a couple of years now and all of a sudden any that I provision now the apps close straight down when opening. I assume this is to do with licensing even though I can log into VPP and all my apps are there. I then noticed that it asked me to migrate my blueprints when next opening Conf2 which I did and then it mention about moving to Apple School Manager. I have setup an account my VPP credit and licenses show in Apple School Manager what do I need to do to get back to provisioning my ipads using Conf 2 which is my prefered method, if not what do I need to do to get it all back up and running with apps that don't close on opening as my ipads are useless at the moment. Thanks in advance.

I know nothing about apple School Manager I did see something when going into apple configurator saying that I need to migrate my blueprints which I accepted and it did.

The apps are through VPP, I think you are right in the error though, it seems to be some weird authentication bug.

Weird problem that has only just started. Installed a new ipad with our normal profile and apps from Apple Configurator and the apps from the bluebrint open then close immediately. I upgraded the OS on the MAC mini to the latest version and the ipads as part of the blueprint install the latest IOS but the apps still close immediately. Any ideas?

Thanks, didn't know that only 2 node switchless is supported, was following a guide for 4 node switchless so assumed it was all good. Will give it a go with different subnets.

I am trying to setup a 4 node cluster for storage spaces direct and hyper-V. Each node has 4 10gb nics and I have each node connected to each other using 3 of the 4 nics with the 4th being the connection to my main network. I am trying to connect each node as a direct connection with no switch, I have given them separate IP addressing to my main network but they show as no connection with each other on those connections, I am missing something here anyone able to point me in the right direction. I am running SCCM 2020 and our machines run Education version of win 10. Has anyone managed to upgrade their win 10 machines to the latest version using the Windows 10 Servicing feature? I only see updates for business and consumer editions for 1909? Thanks
