  1. We have one user only getting similar symptoms. We are not on fortigate not smoothwall
  2. Don't want to make you jealous but .... At my school they provide electric radiators if staff are not warm enough. Parts of the building are old and cold, parts new and warm. I have Raynaud's so if I am not warm enough my fingers go numb and won't work. Told management this and I got a toasty warm electric radiator right under my desk! I would also say asking you to bring in your own is totally unacceptable!
  3. Had this. Stop all start up apps running that you don't need. Probably one drive or teams
  4. "Old-school method of a Pupil Shared drive, mapped as 'P' is the tried and tested method." Same here The children have a simple link on their desktop to the shared area
  5. We only allow the use of the downloaded version
  6. We use mosyle free version for 100 ipads. It isn't perfect but we like free!
  7. Plus 1 for ispy, it was also my default view 😁
  8. Mine also arrived today. Thanks very much
  9. How about code club if the school doesn't already run one? Tons of free resources and the kids love it https://codeclub.org/en/start-a-code-club
  10. We have sharps and have had for several years. I would recommend them. Not many issues and if we do have one, the engineers are swift and expert at solving.
  11. Got mine this morning. Thank you so much!! Socks are wonderful and I am weirdly excited by the pen!!
  12. Same issue here, but weirdly only with one computer in school! And thanks, the print to PDF works as a get around
  13. We have used sharp for several years. Have been impressed by how quick they come out to fix any issues we might have.
  14. First let me say I am not an apple fan. Our school bought 68 ipads in 2015 and the main thing that I have been impressed with is reliability. I am going to say 'touch wood' first but..... All 68 are still in constant use and except for replacing 2 batteries, absolutely nothing has gone wrong with them in all that time.
