  2. I'd be using chromebox type pc for that also, we use planet estream with chrome players.
  3. We also had the Trilby trial but went with Planet eStream - we actually already had it but weren't using its signage. Unlimited screens at no cost per screen and easier to use workss well for us.
  4. We have estream https://planetestream.co.uk with chrome bits clients behind our screens. we add screens without paying more for each screen and its easy and pretty good value.

  11. We looked at OneLan but it was costly and seemed a bit fiddly to use (for me at least). We needed something where we could add as many screens as we needed with no cost per screen. I can recommend estream, the signage is excellent and it does live tv. Mark
  12. Hi Sippo We're using estream signage, it worked out much cheaper for us as there is no per-screen cost involved and it's pretty easy to use.
  13. We are ex clickview users too we got demos of helix and planet esteem. E-stream is cheaper and does more.
  14. We trialled xibo and a few others and then went with planet esign - as we already had an estream system it seemed to make sense and it is for me easier to use personally.
  15. Hi, we use planet esign that comes with the planet estream too. We were using onelan but the esign is well easier to use and cheaper.
  16. We use estream, it has the best digital signage that I've used (by a mile) and also does tonnes of other things http://www.planetestream.co.uk
  17. If possible try tools / account settings / select the account on the email tab, click change, click 'more settings', click the advanced tab, untick 'download shared folders' and click OK. If you then try again it should work, or at least it did for me when I had the same problem. - Mark
  18. We also use estream, having suffered with onelan for a number of years, it's a pleasure to find something that works well and is easy to use. Try a demo.
  19. We found that Planet eStream offers many more features, is easier to use, and is better value for money. http://www.planetestream.co.uk
  20. We've just had digital signage added to our Planet eStream system, it's nice and easy to use. See Planet eStream v5 Video Archiving, IPTV and Digital Signage solutions for Schools, Academies, Colleges, Universities and the Private Sector. We now have an all-one one system for archiving our old vhs tapes, recording off freeview, uploading photos, and ditial signage. My boss liked the look of OneLan ONELAN Digital Signage // Digital Signage Specialists, manufacturing Digital Signage Media Players, Complete Solution, Linux Based, Multi-zoned, Multi-media, Live TV, Transparency but it's pricey.
  21. Planet eStream v5 Video Archiving, IPTV and Digital Signage solutions for Schools, Academies, Colleges, Universities and the Private Sector - It says that they now include digital signage for free, although we don't have it yet.
  22. We also have used Millgate and are happy to recommend them.
  23. Hi - We've started trialing a Hitachi IPJ-AW250N and, so far, it's looks to be great improvement over our existing projectors (projects directly onto a light green wall and gives an excellent picture) - and the teachers like it. As always with these things, we'll be giving it few weeks to see how it holds up to the 'rigours' of day-to-day use.
