Be very careful with feature phones. A lot of them are 2G, some are 3G. Both are being sunsetted, 2G end of 2025 and 3G by end of 2024 (depending on network). Some providers like Three have stopped 2G already. So ensure you get 4G handsets.

Could you not start discussions and raise issues here? Wider audience, greater wealth of experience and more chance of responses?

We didn't get a chance to really put anything out about this, we had a couple of reports, but more an FYI to us as users weren't prevented from doing anything they were just being bugged by the messages. By the time MS admitted there was an issue it was end of day. We are just following up today to check users are all OK this morning. This may be due to our setup though as we tend to have shortcuts copied into a folder and redirect start to that. Shortcuts are then replaced if missing.

Have you tried plugging in headphones, see if they work and then unplug the headphones and see if the speaker works? We have some Dell laptops that we have discovered this bug on and I wonder if it is a driver or firmware issue.

If the 3 accounts are on M365 and the accounts have been delegated to the user, they will appear automatically in Outlook once the user is signed in. Otherwise you will have to add them manually, which is the same process as in previous versions of Office.

I'm afraid it is the contract. You need to be aware of when contract terms end and what the minimum termination window is. Auto enroll is fairly standard in telecoms, otherwise you would lose mobile connections, phone lines, DDIs if someone didn't renew. It is also pretty standard on most software subscriptions now. Options are transition away and pay a hefty termination fee, put a reminder in your calendar for September to cancel, or cancel now and make sure you organise the transition in time.

Thanks for that, from the email it certainly looked like a feature they were allowing us to have, not a paid for extra. As you say, anyone with a Cloud based MIS will not really need this.

2 Options: - Look into help desks that have workflows. This will be able to follow a process, present task lists and wait for approvals before moving on to the next step. - Look into M365 Power Automate and set up a workflow in that.

I'm assuming horizontal, not all the way down a page? No difference between B&W and Colour? If you do a solid block down the page and print is that OK? If you then copy that page how does it come out? I can't think of anything that would affect copy only that wouldn't streak down the page, or banding that wasn't a drum or fusing issue.

Fresh Desk is a damned service desk and has asset tracking as well. YOu have to be careful with the assets though as they give you a limited number of devices to start with and then you have to license them in batches of 500.

There is an "Executive Summary for a specific site" report. For some reason on my inherited set up it is in the Archive > site analysis folder. Not sure if someone tidied it there or if Smoothwall have archived them. IN the same location there is also a "Top users by hits for a specific site"

They advise, but it is not needed. You can leave the AD bits intact while removing Exchange. The only annoyance is having to manage some email bits in Attribute Editor.

I did love the run of Windows Phones that ran on them. Can't even remember which it was, but it was undoubtedly cool to turn your phone and slide the keyboard out, long before smartphones made rotating screens normal. But yes, they did have their foibles Even closer shape but no.

Yes, you can. If they are targeted at different groups I guess you could, but what would the point be? Have them as 1 number out, with the harshest one higher precedence, just incase.
