Hi everyone, I had ordered 4 x Griffin Multidock 2's, but between me getting a price and placing the order, they have gone EOL and no current replacement is in sight. The quote I had was £415 per unit, so I need alternatives around or below that price. Currently I'm thinking USB hub and a wooden lockable cabinet. Each unit needs to hold 8 iPads in tough cases. SUGGESTIONS WELCOME! I need these things out of my office ASAP!

A little bit far for me unfortunately! If I were you, I'd give them one more chance to re-arrange, but keep feelers out for a replacement. We waited 5 months for a heating engineer to come and install a boiler....

My machine is an ICT Direct special, but I've had it for a few years now and perhaps it's time for me to get a new one, because you love me and I am great. Also when I bought it I didn't know that I would be running Adobe Creative Cloud and we all know how much RAM that beautiful thing uses.... especially After Effects!! Intel Xeon X5675, 24GB RAM, 240GB SSD and 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 750. Plus having a HP machine will blend me in with the rest of the admin crew here. YEAH BOI!

unfortunately not. I have to uninstall the "High Definition Audio Device" and scan for new hardware. It re-installs and then outputs onto HDMI. Using different laptops has helped.

This is what I'm curious about too, so I've just disabled offline files and logged onto a laptop which I disconnected from the wifi and I get the old "Windows cannot access \\server\staff home\username\desktop" error. Is there a way to suppress these messages?

Slightly off topic, but relevant... if you disable offline files, but have OneDrive, can the user still log on while offline without loads of error messages?

So I search the server for large files and see what I finds. Sometimes you will have to remove a lot of stuff because it shouldn't be there (read: 4GB movie files). I archive stuff all the time, so if I find a staff member has stuff that hasn't been touched since the 1990's, I archive and if they need it, I can get it back.

if they couldn't get past at all then yes it's a problem, but if they can get past at mild inconvenience, it's better than inconveniencing the hundreds of cars that will pass your car while you are in work.... dunno.... maybe that's me as a motorist speaking.

I get those messages here when AppLocker is blocking an app.... Could be worth a look to see if there is a sneaky GPO blocking it for the user.

We sent out a detailed form asking what we could use photos for eg/ display within school, use on website and facebook, use for advertising, send to newspapers.

I ended up using Tinker CAD and it took me like... 10 minutes. So much easier to use than Fusion 360!!!

I'm trying to make one of these in AutoDesk Fusion 360, but I'm pretty terrible at it. I've taken it upon myself to repair a Playmobil Pirate Ship for the nursery!! If it just takes patience then I guess I'll just have to keep at it, but if anyone else is awesome at using this software, you'd probably be able to make this up pretty quick. Or if people have any tips, feel free to share...

if you have sound backups (test them) then let it limp on for another month. A replacement drive wouldn't be too expensive if you are worried.
