Nah mate - that's easy. Take some swanky photos to show the DVLA. Sounded easy enough to me

If I were to do it again, I'd go education. Currently on Enterprise LTSB, but it is missing features like photo preview!

I've been told I need to stream myself playing. Might have to buy a shiny headset.

Staff salary sacrifice for IT equipment - Anyone run them?
Joanne replied to tj2419's topic in How do you do....it?
I've tried to set it up, but because we are paid by county, I have to get them to set it up... so it hasn't happened. I'd love to buy me a shiny new MBP on salary sacrifice! -
OMG I'd love to do this. Can you update the thread with pics when you get started?

I used to install Huawei switches in my old job. I left when they had just started installing the wifi. The switches were very good quality for the price, so perhaps the wifi would be similar. Only problem was that the UI was in chinese so you had to CLI everything... which is painful. That was 3 years ago now, so could be different.

Good ol' school jotter! - - - Updated - - - Same. I probably won't say anything to anyone and just see if it works.

So I've set up the analytics... do I now need to add the code into the home page of my website?

I keep mine in my office. When I'm using it I open my window a bit and prop open the door I know that it won't get interfered with then!

Do you think? All I had to do was create some GPOs which I'll apply next week and add a PAC file to the iPads. Thought it wasn't much to do TBH. Internet will still work even if the machines don't have the GPO applied, you just won't have the google images filtered correctly. I mean, if you manually had to go round every machine, then yeah it's defo a PITA...

send a blank page from word through it.... what does it look like then?

I got a portal message about the failures yesterday. Apparently in the event of lightspeed failure, it should block all, but instead it allows all and they are investigating the issue with lightspeed. IMO service is less disrupted if everything is allowed, but they should send out a bulletin or something warning people. I'd be annoyed if my (pretty much unfiltered) internet was brought down because it was unfiltered! Hah! I'm getting the SSL stuff activated next week. Wish me luck

I'm using Lightspeed MDM, think that retails at £5 pa. I get it free with county though. It's fast! Change a setting on the console and you turn round to look at the iPad and it's been deployed. Took me a while to get used to it after using Meraki for so long though.

Or something like this... https://www.lockncharge.com/mobile_device_baskets/

GPO, you have to download the ADM files from Microsoft... https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49030 Don't forget to put the language one in there too, otherwise it won't show up. Policy is in: Powerpoint 2016 / Powerpoint Options / Advanced / Do not allow powerpoint to automatically extend display.

This might be overkill for what you need... but I find these to be very hardy. iNsync C34

depends who's logged on and if they have set that setting before...
-
Beatcha to it
-
are people using powerpoint? Mine used to extend when you started a presentation, so I used GPO to disable the extended desktop thing.

For me it was to get people to use OneDrive. Sorry, not very helpful.
