Clientless SSL VPN ( Web browser based )
clarky2k3 replied to MicrosoftTechy's topic in Wireless Networks
Try Open-VPN-ALS, it used to be called Adito which was a fork of SSL Explorer when it was took over by Barracuda Networks. -

Depends on how much you want to spend. I have just bought a ATi Radeon HD5850, all I can say is wow!!! If you dont want to spend that much then I would go for the cheaper HD5770 or wait until the cheaper alternatives come out in the 58xx range.

I dont know if it syncs to your phone but you could look up Mozilla Thunderbird

We use the allvideos plugin from joomlaworks. Works with anything we chuck at it.

Just built my new rig. If your going down the AMD Proceesor route, I got one of these babies. Cheap but well built and has onboard ATI HD 4200 with VGA and DVI. Currently running my monitor at full 1080p! If not the I would recommend a Radeon HD 5770. Depends on how much you want to spend!

How do you successfully setup nginx as a reverse proxy. Currently external DNS two domain names ourschool.org and mail.ourschool.org get sent on one external ip address, our firewall then uses port forwarding to forward port 80 to our internal webserver. Currently got nginx setup on same box as apache webserver and configured apache to listen on port *:8080, got nginx setup listening on port 80. Edited the /etc/nginx/sites-available/default to use - proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8080/; This should work, shouldnt it or have I missed a trick? Thanks

Smoothwall Express Subdomains
clarky2k3 replied to clarky2k3's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Any ideas where I would start setting up a reverse proxy. I am running an apache webserver. I asume you run nginx behind your firewall with port forwarding on your router set to forward to the nginx box, yes? -
Smoothwall Express Subdomains

Hello all, Got a little problem I would like to allow staff to access emails externally on mail.ourdomain.org. Our external IP is setup with our county council, I have asked to open a subdomain on their dns servers which is done but http://www.ourdomain.org and mail.ourdomain.org both resolve to the same external ip address. Now, we use smoothwall express as our firewall and I have setup up port forwarding for our external ip to resolve to our web server. So now both http://www.ourdomain.org and mail.coqueths.org bring up our school website. But I want mail.ourdomain.org to go to our zimbra email server. Is there a way to sort this or do I have to get another external ip for mail.ourdomain.org? PS. Both http and https are taken on http://www.ourdomain.org. Thanks

This Acer on ebuyer is good value!

You can sync them from joomla or just have an annoymous user and allow them to add their username/name in the box provided when users submit a new problem. Extra documentation just incase you need it.

We use huru helpdesk which is an open source component for joomla, works really well. It is inspired by Liberium.

I imaged 30 Dell Vostro 1520s in the summer, all I did to make it work was to set SATA in the BIOS instead of the default AHCI. Try that on your 1510s.

Moving Existing Servers Onto Xen Server
clarky2k3 posted a topic in Thin Client and Virtual Machines
Hello all, we have just go two new Xen Servers and I was wondering the best way to move the existing servers onto the virtual servers. Is there a easy way to do it or is it just a case of fresh install and configure? Thanks. EDIT - Whoops I have just noticed Xen Convert is this any good?
