All staff laptops are on the domain, however I want them to be able to log on at home with domain username/password and then sync work back over to server. Is this possible? If so how do I go about doing it? Any gotchas?

We just right click another user in the same group and click copy. Then type in their name,username/password and viola! It keeps the same groups and sets there profile/home folder according to the user you copied from (but it keeps the users profile/home docs unique for that user). Give it a try. However for multiple users we use csv files that we export from SIMS

It is when they log on, they get there desktop up and can browse my docs etc... but the wireless doesnt show.

Hello all, Have a small problem in that staff laptops have a local home user account and we have a new vanilla network. If they login at school no problems! But if they take them home, the wireless takes about an hour to appear and the computer is very slow! These laptops are on the domain (Windows Server 2008 R2 + Win XP SP3 Client), I have looked in group policy and cant see anything obvious. Any ideas?

Did you modify the config file on the secondary server to point to your papercut main server? Then stop and start the service on the secondry server and voila!

Looking forward to them! We have problems installing ILM 2007 here. When installing ILM you put the service username and password you create for ILM in AD but it says that the current configuriation is not secure. It lets me click Ok and it installs ILM but it doesnt create the MIIS Groups in AD. Any ideas?
