Wireless has been fine for me throughout the house. I got it because I wanted everything in one box. I did look at the 8800AXL but couldn't justify the extra cost.

Off-site cloud backups, who, how much (gb) and how much (£££)??
Edu-IT replied to cheredenine's topic in Cloud Services
I think it should be GB. -
I do. It's been spot on.

I've got a Powershell script where it looks to import a CSV of Students and store it as $Students. How do I view a list of 'students' actually in $Students within Powershell? Just to make sure it's importing them all correctly. This could be explained better I'm sure but I'm not a coder by far!

I'm not using it through OP yet, but I am through another provider. It's the same service just different reseller. :-) -
That's the number I always use and never had any issues. I tried both and it seems to go through to the same automated system.

Deploying office 2013 on Windows7 in ICT suites
Edu-IT replied to genesis's topic in Learning Network Manager
I don't mind it, it's just the printer thing that's annoying. -
You can use 023 8062 5880 instead @dry if that helps. The interface is the same, on the whole, but it looks as though the login has changed slightly. You login with an email address now from what I can tell. I think there's a queue to be moved over to 2.4 so I'd get in and ask to be put on the list. I think they're doing migrations in batches as they have to test the DB.

I've just done the same. Is there a way to get rid of the 'Send to OneNote' printer? -
Probably against the terms and conditions though!

They only seem to offer it to NUS or Unidays. I think FE staff get it as they are in some cases eligible to apply for an NUS card. Edit: If you know somebody already on Spotify, you could do the Family Plan? https://www.spotify.com/us/family/

There's a fix it here which I've been running just to make sure it's all gone. http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9737366

Java isn't listed as being a requirement in the latest 2.4 version. http://www.tucasihelp.com/documents/2.4SCOInstallationGuide.pdf I think you have to ask to move to the 'cloud' version.

Did this get whitelisted?

I've left mine as they were by default with the exception of adding in a few exclusions specific to our school software. The only other change I made was to run the app in silent mode.

It automatically goes there as long as you have set the DNS records MS ask for during setup of Office 365. https://support.office.com/en-za/article/Create-DNS-records-at-any-DNS-hosting-provider-for-Office-365-7b7b075d-79f9-4e37-8a9e-fb60c1d95166#

They'll be able to see from Impero then who is logged in?
-
Do you use RM Tutor or anything currently, which you're going to continue to use? If so a program like that will show the logged on users.
-
When we type in mail.ourdomain.com/owa it goes directly to Office 365. So if you're using the same domain, you should be fine. We haven't configured any redirects. Just set the DNS that MS require.

I'm looking at ways to secure a portable projector and perhaps a computer, without having to go down the route of using a full on ceiling mounted cage / pole solution. Is there anything out there that is reasonably priced, to do this, other than Kensington locks? As it stands I'm thinking perhaps a lockable cupboard is the only solution.

Reporting posts seems to take an absolute decade to submit the report. Is this just happening to me?

Do you not go back to work feeling a bit clueless and out the loop if you don't do the teacher days? I think all staff should be paid to attend.

4 other options? What are they?
