  1. Be willing to use double barrier method for contraception. This is one of the requirements.....
  2. This is not always up to date as we have found this week but they are having major issues.
  3. Us too. But the chargers don't seem to last.
  4. If they know the site is having issues or performing upgrades why cant they email the school SMHW admins! Too many times we have had people complain about it not working and then having to report the issue as the status page isnt always up to date!
  5. @Quatermass the phone number is on this page https://www.showmyhomework.co.uk/about/about_satchel.html You may want to take a note of it in case it goes from there too. I googled 'show my homework phone number' and it was about the third or fourth link.
  6. We use these https://www.avpartsmaster.co.uk/p-64881-sahara-wall-mounted-active-speakers.aspx They fill the classroom and corridor when some teachers play sound! We buy the remote too so the teachers dont have to stand on desk etc to reach the speakers to change volume.
  7. This didn't work. I must do better.
  8. My personal Google drive is working. Wonder if its just the school and business account.

  12. I have a 2016/17 (cant remember)Dell XPS 15 and cant fault it. Bit pricey at £1500 Would recommend the Dell XPS line.
  13. Trouble is that the OEMs are given stock Android but they mess with it. Google used to have 'Google Play editions' of various high end phones which were stock Android but they killed that off before the Nexus 6 was out.
  14. My favourite of all time #susanalbumparty
  15. looking forward to updating my phone with it
  16. Bradley Walsh the actor is very different to Bradley Walsh the comedian/tv presenter.
  17. @Datamouse Welcome! Probably the best user name too ☺️
  18. I had four but three of them were probably years after they were first released. Any one could have had an Action Man in the past 40 years!
  19. If it went down Thursday morning and up when you posted assuming the IT Department were only working week days then thats quite quick in my opinion. Even if they were working the weekend I'm guessing they would have wanted to get it working right rather than have multiple times in future where it would go down again. Its unfortunate its lost the company money but in the long run it would be a minimal amount in the financial year. Here's to hoping it is fixed for the long term.
  20. Personally I think its acceptable to be down while it is being fixed. Whether it takes 30 minutes or a week. Ideally it would be better if it was fixed quickly but sometimes this doesn't happen. But in a company whilst it is down it is potentially losing the company money so there would be a difference of opinion there. Also as @elsiegee40 says it depends on the person fixing it and being paid etc.
  21. I find if you train someone, it becomes a bit more plane to them. better start doing a star trek across the universe for space.
  22. I was thinking I would help everyone to read the thread in calf the time.
  23. You can have a policy but if there is no money then there is no money to upgrade. My last school had a plan in place and I would update it and send it to the head before each budget so he would know what would be needed. The school didn't have any money to replace kit so I have to patch and repair until things were replaced when a bit of money was found.
  24. Dairy me, I'm going to herd these puns up so that they can't be milked any longer. Lets anchor it there.....
  25. Thats true but I'd rather have more ice cream over the taste
