As mentioned in earlier posts, Windows 10 S is now only in S mode. Microsoft killed off Windows 10 S as a full OS early in February 2018. https://www.thurrott.com/windows/windows-10/151582/exclusive-windows-10-s-dead-long-live-s-mode

Windows 10 creating local administrator accounts from Group Policy
dezt replied to talksr's topic in Windows 10
It is possible to create a local admin account through Computer Configuration under Group Policy Preferences, then Control Panel Settings, then Local Users and Groups. However, I have had to pick up a school where a support company had done this and it caused chaos. I would not recommend this though as giving teaching staff admin rights can cause issues. -
From reading this article, you have to manually configure the pre-logon VPN tunnel. Specify Pre-Logon Device Tunnel Allowed Destinations Following are the differences between how VPN and DirectAccess provide the ability to define pre-logon Allowed Destinations. Windows 10 VPN This can be achieved with the Device Tunnel (prelogon) feature in the VPN profile, combined with traffic filters to control which management systems on the corporate network are accessible via the device tunnel.+ This is defined using the following VPNv2 CSP parameters: •VPNv2/ProfileName/DeviceTunnel •VPNv2/ProfileName/TrafficFilterList •VPNv2/ProfileName/RouteList https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-access/vpn/vpn-map-da

We have some iPad's that are being used on a guest network, staff have setup their office 365 email accounts through the mail app. When they are at school they can't receive any emails, when they go home they can. We are using Smoothwall as filtering so I think that is the issue, but I can't find any information on what needs to be allowed through the filter to allow the mail app to work. Has anyone come across this issue before that can point me in the right direction?

I have the berghaus one you're looking at there, I think it's quite a decent bag. I use it for day to day use, but also for when I need something for days out walking.

I used Virgin Trains last weekend for the NFL from Preston, weekend upgrade to first class is £20, so if you get the cheap "scum class" tickets and upgrade to first class on a weekend it'll only cost about £44 in total, weekend only though. Coming home on the Monday the upgrade would have cost us the difference between the £20 ticket and the £250 first class ticket, so we decided to go to the shop and grab some food for the train, worked out cheaper.

We've been doing this since setting up O365 ourselves years ago, are you telling me all staff and pupils need a different username and password to access their emails if using the Lancs O365 option? Glad I didn't take it now.

I got told that there's a copyright issue with the codebug at the moment which is the real reason it's been delayed. However, I was told that by a teacher, so not to sure about how true it is, but the codebug does look very similar.

Sending Encrypted Emails to External Users from O365

Amazing, I was after this exact thing, thanks so much. -
When I was in Vegas in October me and the Mrs wandered in to a screening panel for this, we sat through a preview screening of an episode which still had all the wires on the actors when doing their stunts etc. Anyway, we sat there with a button to press when we would change channel and a dial that went from 1 - 10 to show how interested we were, both of us switched off after 5 minutes, the attempt of making a series from the film was just really bad in our opinion, but all the American people there loved it and couldn't wait to see when it would come out. Guess that's why it's been made, personally though, it was the biggest waste of 1 hour of my life, I could of quite happily lost lots of money gambling rather than sit through that tosh.

forget that, I can log in but not all the web apps are working at the moment, I'll take another look after lunch, or tomorrow.

Just checked, working fine for me. Logged in fine for me just now, just needed to restart the IE browser.

We've been using Office365 for 3 years now and this is the first time it's had an issue. They do claim to have around 99.9% uptime so I think they're entitled to 1 issue.
