Literally just bought that! always been curious about it but never thought it was worth the RRP, glad I waited. 15 quid for Hitman: Absolution seems very tempting, too.
-
To be fair I'm grateful that you do, I always forget to actually open the client and check the Store page - usually I just open the games direct from the icon. D'oh. Very true, there are many in the world! I'm liking the look of Dishonoured, still not sure if I want to pay that much for it though..

I knew a thread for this was going to appear, I knew it'd be you that would post it an' all! Gosh Very good bargains, and this is running all the way to January 5th! FML, I might as well my goodbyes to my wallet/payday coming up. The only thing I ever hate with these sales is I'll buy the game when it's discounted for say 15%. A few days later I'll see the sodding thing again for 50% off. asjgh!$^%^(#

As nice as it would be to see the standalone come out by the new year, I'm very doubtful it will. Like you say, it'd be cutting it fine if they did. I still can't wait for it though, should it be definite. Yeah, TB is always on the ball when it comes to this - just watched the whole thing and I couldn't agree more. I'm quite surprised that it made the BBC news too, just read the article. I expect that's put a hole in their public image somewhat. Ouchy.

Hm, that's intruiging! Thanks for the heads up on that - to be honest, I saw it before it came on Steam but ignored it for the very reason of it being riddled with bugs/not very diverse with features/interesting gameplay (I was a BETA tester for APB: Reloaded for the original and the re-launch versions, it still ended up being released with the very same bugs that we had found - and there were tons of them!) but since it was approved for steam sale I assumed it would be a neat-o version and ready to go. I'll stick with DayZ then!

Just seen this appear on Steam, very tempted to buy. Early Christmas self-present me thinks

[website] Real spider makes FAKE spider!
Fleetwood replied to aerospacemango's topic in Jokes/Interweb Things
I'm not remotely keen on spiders but I must admit that's bloomin' impressive. -

Oh Mr. Grey

I'd like to point out at this stage that I do not wear the onesies outside/in public. That's just asking to be happy slapped.
-
Three were 'thatgiftthatyoureallydidn'twantbutsmileandtakeitanyway'/presents, the other 2 I bought myself. They were for work purposes though, honestly! Oh the joys of working at Primark during college years.. (We were raising funds for the breast cancer foundation and we had to all wear pink. Me being all 'Maaaannnnly' *cue Ray Winston* I wasn't keen on wearing pink, until I noticed one of our Monkey onesies had a big pink patch in the center-front, so I bought it and wore it for the whole day. It was bl00dy boiling.

*Busted!* - I've got five

YEAAH BOIIIII! *tool smash* On-topic: I'll be fine, years of playing the Fallout series has trained me in how to deal with a post-apocalyptic world. Wohooo! But meh. If it does happen then fair enough I've been proven wrong, but I'm not going to suddenly live my life in fear of it approaching because of it and 'prepare'. What's the point in that? I'm still getting excited for Christmas Day, as everybody else should be (providing they celebrate it, obviously.) - If it doesn't happen, those who have killed their pets are going to feel like a right mug. Have people seriously asked about killing their children though? I mean REALLY? I just wish the kids would stop banging on about it, it's the number one topic around school!

I've still got my GoldenEye 007 cartridge for the N64 somewhere, bloody loved that game. I could still play it for hours on end now!

The BEST thing.. about THIS CAR.. is the NOISE. It is the BEST CAR..... in the WORLD.
-
I'm not too bothered about the odd scratch and a slightly dodgy button, because in the end you've made the choice to pay for a second-hand phone so you've not got a reason to moan that there's issues with it - bound to happen! Thanks for all your input, I shall be keeping my eye out and see if any come up at a good price just out of curiosity, if you were to buy a second hand iPhone 4 - how much would you pay?
-
To be fair though, is that genuinely the -phone- that's broken or has it been down to careless use? (Not to be taken as an insult/underminer to your friends, just curious) - if it's the case of the phones in general being utter sh1t3 then I doubt I'll bother. Can't say I've ever owned one before (especially when it was only £100 cheaper than what my first car was worth, ha! Couldn't justify owning a phone that expensive brand-new)
-
Gotta love that Knight Rider, TT. Nothing like some Gas Guzzlers! I like the look of the old Ford Mustang (as in, 'Bullitt' era) +: I could never see myself in one of those pickup trucks they all have.. it'd just look wrong on so many levels.
-
You know what car I'd love? A 1982-1992 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
-
So I'm thinking of buying a second-hand iPhone 4 (or 4s if it's a reasonable price.) I suppose the main question is has anybody here done the same? Have you had any problems with doing so? I've never bought anything this 'big' second-hand before (for the same reason that I can't buy it new, not rolling in the money!) And whilst I'm on the subject, am I the only one that can't understand people who flocked to get the iPhone 5 after only having their 4s for a few months?
-
No matter how bad that looks (and heaven forbid that looks like a right nightmare!) - fair play to the chaps that still manage to work with that mess, that must take some serious skill/balls to add to that bundle. I wouldn't even want to walk under that lot!
-
Just looked at the Crysis one myself actually, that's a damn good price for the whole pack. I was thinking of getting that Counterstrike one but I've been so happy playing CS:S I doubt I'd play any of the others!
-
Oh lordy, this will be an intruiging development! Have you bought anything this sale? I was looking at the flash sale for Mirror's Edge but there's just something about the gameplay that makes me think "I'll get bored of it within an hour and never play it again."
-
Snapped up Batman: Arkham City GOTY and Dragon Age: Origins UE for about £10, result! Not a bad sale, will there be one around christmas too?
-
I always thought Whitelist literally was the opposite of Blacklist? List of approved players? Thanks for those links, I'll set that all up when I'm home.. which isn't long, yay! Better pop to the Winchester first - also, does that DayZMap.com thing still work.. all I see is a black screen on the webpage (unless it loads up when you have the game open? D'oh.)
