Very tough, every time I've seen them at demos people have been whacking the screens with the remote, knocking hard on it... it convinced me...

We've got 3 CTouch screens and I love them, so do the teachers using them... happy to discuss further if you want to pm me...

I've used http://incompetech.com/music/ when I've needed some in the past, definitely nothing like chart music, but there may be something suitable... he just asks for credit when it's used...

Which system is it? Sounds like we should all be wary of any mention of it...

Do you have a school band / choir you have recordings of? That may be a suitable alternative...

Not too bad, I emailed them on Monday about a SIMS Remote Upgrade issue (as SIMS support is all we use them for now), they called back yesterday, but even this morning seems quite good for them...

It will be something that can be done via firewall (though probably fiddly), and group proxy, and there are bound to be other free solutions... but none that I've looked at in the past have been as quick and easy as Impero... I'm quite happy to rave on about the merits of Impero until the cows come home... but it does seem to be the ideal solution... You can schedule blocks, by PC / Users, and create custom groups easily, adding PCs or Users individually or with wildcards, then you can block the internet or USB (because there'd be nothing stopping them bringing resources to cheat with on USB), on the fly (which is what you mentioned initially), easily with just a few clicks...

Definitely worth checking out Impero - I've used it for years, it'll do exactly what you're looking for and so much more...

I disagree! Lol... I've used it since I got my first PC back in the day and it's never let me down... I tinkered with Kaspersky for a year on my PC at work and had nothing but trouble with it so I went back to Norton...

I use Norton Internet Security with a three user licence on my Work PC, Home PC, and Laptop... I've never used anything else, and wouldn't consider anything else... It's never let me down, and I've never had a virus... Had one issue with an upgrade once but they remoted in and sorted it for me...

Trying to register, it tells me I need to log in, then doesn't load saying the site requires me to log in once I'm logged in...... Hope it's working soon! :-) Update: Searched for EduGeek once I was in and found it that way... Booked! Looking forward to it! Thanks!

Only just spotted this conversation... I need to get involved too... I had a personal trainer at the gym for 18 months, until she left, and that was a huge help... but been slipping since... I really need to get back at it properly, and get my diet sorted... easier said than done though :-(
