Senior ICT Technician Full-time Salary: £24,744 - £26,277 including London Weighting (HO6) The Senior ICT Technician will support the Network Manager in the day to day running of the school’s IT systems and infrastructure. Duties include planning, assisting with and running IT projects, supervising the ICT Technician and providing support to staff and students. You should have CompTIA A+ and Network Plus Certification and a minimum of 3 years recent experience of providing technical support in a Windows environment. You should also have experience of either managing or working on IT projects as part of a team. The Deputy Network Manager will provide a high level of technical and organisational assistance to the Network Manager, and will support the management, effective operation, development and administration of all computer network systems throughout the school. The Deputy Network Manager will be closely involved with high level technical projects, developing robust IT systems for staff and student use. This role would be an ideal first step for an experienced Senior Technician moving into management. Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of computer design and components, computer network design (LAN and WAN), structured network cabling, equipment and components and the ability to analyse and solve technical problems. Applicants must have at least three years’ experience working with Windows Server systems and two years’ experience of Active Directory administration.
