We're IE 10 and some 11 that I haven't got round to rolling back to 10! Still using IE8 on the Windows XP laptops though...

Nope. With school budgets what they are, we've only just managed to upgrade all our desktops to Windows 7. We still have Windows XP on the majority of the laptops. Windows 8.x is a long way off for us at the moment.

Seems like that would be the ideal scenario for it to work in! Oh well, I suppose that's one of the reasons they took away the MSI installer. In our school, we have a mixture of Office 2010, 2007 and even some laptops with 2003. It would have been nice to have one universal method that's guaranteed to work on any PC. We're not using IE 11 as it has issues with several of the sites we use regularly such as Mathletics, Education City, Espresso, PurpleMash and others with Flash content or links to youtube such as BBC bitesize. I've not seen dragging and dropping to/from OneDrive work that well with IE10 - there's something counter intuitive about it when users have been brought up using Windows Explorer for so long. Getting teaching staff to change their habits is never easy so it looks like we'll be riding this one out for a while...

The scenario I have is that teachers move around school and use different desktop PCs. I want them to be able to log into any PC in school and have their OneDrive for business available in Computer, without having to install the client, go to the web OneDrive and click Sync.

I'd also like to know this as I couldn't find a way to do it but seems like such an obvious requirement for a business product in a domain environment... If it could replace a user's home drive altogether, that would be brilliant!

@themightymrp you beat me to it! There are several admin roles that you can be assigned in Office365, not all of them have the ability to do the above though. There's a summary of the roles here: Assigning admin roles - office365 suite As part of your AUP or ICT code of conduct, there should be a clause which covers you for monitoring ICT systems such as email.

I've been tempted many times before! Its switched off now, of course, but it does bug me. I'll see if I can resist drilling the lock for a few more days. Its not doing any harm there, but I am curious. I did wonder if any of the 2950 units would end up on ebay but I suppose they are pretty useless without the admin password which most schools (including mine) don't seem to have. I do have a console cable though...

Its exactly this kind of video that makes me want to get into FPV, but sadly my flying ability with the Hubsan V4 has shown me that I really shouldn't spend a lot of money on a quad! Still its lots of fun, and keeps the postman busy delivering replacement props and body shells!

As @zag said. That's pretty much what we did and it worked for us (we were using LLN, not Easymail, but the method is the same.) Out of interest, who will be the administrator for their Office365? If its you, then you already have the power to read their emails...

I've taken the Cisco 2950 out of the rack, but our fibre link back to the civic centre terminates inside a wall mounted, locked, metal box to which no-one in school seems to have a key. Exactly what hardware is inside and who it belongs to remains a mystery...
