To be fair, I do the same sort of thing. Kill an enemy, reload. And then there's invariably another one there. But it's just so ingrained to always have a full magazine. Trying to get out of the habit of reloading unless I know I'm safe.

More than happy to plug my Audio-Technica ATH-M50X's Housemate has the cheaper ATH-M40X's and has no complaints either. Edit: Worth mentioning that the ATH-series aren't 'gaming headsets', they're just 'really good headphones'. I'm not a fan of mics attached to headphones. More often than not they're flimsy and rubbish quality, and are usually the first bit to break.

A lot of people dropped it when most of the stuff was client-side and you could modify memory values to give yourself unlimited health or ammunition. (On PC, at least.)

TBH, I wouldn't trust buying any used GPU for the next 4-6 months. There's a considerably high likelihood that any used GPU you buy will have been thrashed extensively for Etherium mining. Its lifespan will be heavily impacted.

Given how intelligent motherboards are these days, there is no reason to buy a Not-K processor if you're going Intel. And your daily use isn't most people's daily use. Anybody playing esports at a reasonably competitive level probably won't have any distractions on another monitor. But that's just me We'll agree to disagree. Some Ryzen chips don't come with OEM coolers because AMD expect/know/assume you're going to be using an aftermarket one, but I think all Intel's still do.. Maybe their I9's don't, I'm not certain.

Then that's definitely a maximum resolution of 1440p. Nobody who is concerned about framerate is going to be gaming in 4K. You're only going to see an infinitesimal difference between a 1070 and a 1080 at 1440p/1080p 120-240Hz. A 1070'll handle VR just fine too. I have to say I'm personally with @L3OUGH on this one. Drop the card to a 1070 and spend more on the other parts. But yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Slightly worse graphics card in exchange for a considerably better Motherboard and a slightly better processor, and considerably larger SSD (500GB as opposed to 120GB). Seems a better all-rounder to me. There is really no sense ploughing all your cash into your GPU and scrimping everywhere esle.

4K gaming is for chumps anyway Huge overhead for next to no benefit. A 1070'll do 1440p just fine. I do 1440p 144Hz on my 980Ti.

All GPU's are expensive at the moment because Etherium (another cryptocurrency) has had quite a peak in price-per-coin so miners are buying up all the cards.

As with most things, pilot episode is pretty meh. Definitely picks up after that though.

Probably cheap SSD, writing "Solid State Drive with Superior Read + Write Speeds" without giving a brand name just screams low-performance part. Same goes for the HDD. At that price, you're probably getting a WD Green, which I don't like because I hate the spin-down. Maybe even for the RAM (are there any cheap DDR4 2133mhz modules?).. Again "Performance Ram" but no brand name doesn't exactly enthuse me. The case will be cheap as , and the fans will be off-brand fans that don't move as much air as decent brands would do. Also worth noting is they're using the OEM CPU cooler, which I personally hate. Spent £20 and get yourself a decent one, even if you're not overclocking, it'll run cooler and increase longevity. £20-30 now stops you spending £250-300 in 3 years. On paper though, it's a pretty-good to really-good* build for the cost. * Depending on what flavour of HDD, SSD and RAM you get

It's fair to point out the driving in that movie is fantastic. I was worried it would suffer from 'Fast and Furious syndrome' where cars have 15-billion gears etc, but actually, it was pretty well-grounded. The most unbelievable bit, I thought, was where [a spoiler-free person] takes a shotgun to the shoulder and just winces a bit.

Baby Driver (Spoiler-free) An incredibly-skilled young man is employed as a getaway driver for criminals. A job goes wrong. Gunfights, car chases and stunt doubles ensue. I wasn't 100% taken by what I'd seen of the film (which is basically just TV ads) but it was very enjoyable. The last five minutes started to drag on a bit, but overall it was good action movie that kept its plot simple enough that it wasn't full of holes.

Solution has been found (Updating this for anybody that might have this issue in future) Through further digging, it appears the issue is with the Administrative Templates\Foxit Reader 8\Preferences\Default PDF Viewer policy. I took this setting to mean it would modify the related registry value to configure .pdf association with Foxit for all users of the machine (as SYSTEM), but this appears to not be the case. The Default PDF Viewer policy setting appears to attempt to set Foxit as the default PDF viewer when the program is launched. This is an important distinction to make as the software will be launched under the users context and most users in an enterprise setting will not have the administrative privileges to change file-software associations. Launching Foxit with the Default PDF Viewer setting enabled (System PDF Viewer ticked, Web Browser PDF Viewer unticked) checked produces the -register UAC prompt despite the fact that Forbid Checking of the Default PDF Viewer is Enabled. Launching with both options ticked (despite the MST disabling browser features) produces the -displayinbrowserregister prompt. Solution(ish)? A combo of 'Don't use the Default PDF Viewer policy' and 'Don't install any other PDF software' (for us, that means no Acrobat DC and no Acrobat X as part of the Adobe Suite, which is fine by me) and Foxit automatically is given .pdf association by Windows.
