CCTV isn't reviewed until after-the-fact, and it's unlikely Mr. Joe Bloggs is going to try and stop you if you're in a hi-vis and hard-hat. I can't see it being too difficult to slap a sheet of hard plastic on top of the hole you drilled too.. Something that's the same colour as the machine or has some kind of picture/instructions/whatever that doesn't look out of place. The hole is probably that large so a person can just reach in and find a USB extender cable (if applicable) or plug their own into the exposed ports on the machine. Unless you know the machine has a USB extender cable and can fish it out with wire or something, you're not gonna be able to make a smaller hole.

I'm with X on this one. Shadowbans are a terrible way of handling things. Censoring opinions is always a difficult route to go down. Just because their opinion is different, even vile in some cases, doesn't warrant blanket 100% censorship.

You don't see the suffering he endured, nor know for how long he endured it. You say suicide is the selfish option because it hurts other people. Would you expect somebody else to live a lifetime of pain so that you wouldn't feel any? Is that not selfish? The truth it depression is a terrible beast. It's ever-present and malicious and no matter how good things are, it will find a way to bring you down. Oftentimes nobody expects the people at the top to suffer. They have it all, what do they have to be depressed about? But consider the amount of high-profile suicides. Chester Bennington is the latest addition to a growing list. Chris Cornell. Robin Williams. Tony Scott. Bob Welch. Jeret Peterson. Depression fuels its own fire by often resulting in isolation, it's often exacerbated by (legal or otherwise) substance use as the depressed desperately scramble for some kind of escape. I know. I've been there. The scariest thing about depression though? Is that it's right. Depressive thoughts, to a depressed person, make absolute perfect sense. Chester Bennington was a terrible father and a terrible husband because he spent too much time on his music instead of his wife and kids. Chester Bennington was a failure because he resorted to substance use to escape his demons. Chester Bennington was talentless hack, and was simply riding on the coat-tails of his bandmates. Everybody whose life Chester Bennington had an impact on would be better off if he wasn't around. From my own experiences with depression, I would say these are things he would likely have thought repeatedly and often And to him, they would have made sense. They were right. It was all true. It's not selfishness that drives people to suicide. Suicidal people kill themselves because it's the right thing to do. We as outsiders can all look in and say that it's not true, it isn't the right thing to do, and his depression was clouding his judgement. We all know that to be true. But the depressed person doesn't see that, and it takes a lot more than an outside perspective to change how a depressed person thinks. If you had any kind of serious experience with depression, your response to somebody killing themselves wouldn't be so callous and insensitive.

And I wouldn't have bought any of those phones because of it, either! I mean, I'll never own an iPhone anyway, but that's besides the point.

You could use one of these for every two of those bloomin' fives. What's the point in re-doing the fives? Or the tens. Just give us 20's, they're 4 times as good, clearly the best option.

Saw the trailer for this over the weekend.. It looks stupid. But the kind of stupid that you could just veg out and watch and not pay close enough attention to the 'plot' to pick out inconsistencies or plot holes.

I appreciate why people want First-Person only. Third-person does make camping considerably easier and does give substantial benefit to the camper.. But I think they just need to tweak the distance/over-the-shoulder numbers rather than eliminate it. That being said, I'll still give first-person-only a shot (heh, geddit? shot? ay? ay?) and who knows, maybe I'll enjoy it, but I'm increasingly put off by first-person-shooters in the recent years so I'm not holding my breath.

Point taken I do see what you're saying, and on paper I agree with the concept. My reservations aren't 'because she's a woman'. I mean, I guess technically they are, but her sex isn't the issue here. Let's hark back to ICTDirect_Dave's (hopefully) tongue-in-cheek post about The Doctor being played by Ed Sheeran. I'd still be asking "Is this the best person for the job, or is it just because he's crazy popular right now?" I ask the same about Jodie Whittaker in the same capacity.. Is she the best person for the job, can she play the Doctor best as per the script, or are sacrifices to the quality of the show being made in order to appease the vocally aggressive feminist crowd? And the feminist crowd have been very vocal about Doctor Who (as with most TV shows tbh) in the past. Sometimes, I feel, justifiably. Sometimes not. Bill was a wonderful step in the right direction and I didn't feel like they made her being a lesbian a core tenet of her character, she was a bloody good companion that just happened to like women. I would have thought all Daleks were male (OMG SEXISM!!11!1!1eleventy) and a female Dalek would have concave shell detail rather than convex
