Screenshots have leaked which apparently show the new Sonic Screwdriver. (Not posting them for people that want to avoid spoilers) To be clear: They show Jodie holding a device that lights up at the end, there's no actual confirmation that it's the 'driver itself*. There's also a 52 second scene that's been leaked, which again, I shan't be posting or going into detail over. * It might be in the leaked scene, I haven't actually watched it. Comments on Reddit allude to the leaked scene not actually spoiling anything, and more giving us a taste of the 'tone' of the new Doctor.

Well wasn't that what caused TSB's issues? They split from the Lloyds group? Or was it the other way around?

Been blitzing my way through .hack//G.U. Last Recode whilst I've had no internet.. Onto Vol. 3 at the moment. A good old nostalgia trip, but my lord I forgot how much of a jerk Haseo was in the first half of the game

I spun it up just before I moved, seems alright, not got very far into it though. Is it just co-op dungeon/instance grinding all the way? I can see it being something I might play 'every now and again' but PoE already meets my casual pick-it-up-whenever dungeon-crawler needs.

I just use Apple Configurator 2 on a MacBook, ship the iPads off to their respective departments, and I tend to not see them until they want some other app adding.

Worth noting too, if you're looking at folding knives, spring-loaded knives (i.e. switchblades) are also illegal, as are blades that require 'flicking' (gravity knives) to open https://www.gov.uk/buying-carrying-knives I assume the intention is that the user has to manually and purposefully access the blade with both hands.

Stick with the trend: config file! I was under the impression they weren't allowed a spellchecker as some questions are noted that x marks are for spelling, punctuation and grammar? It might just English exams, but I know I've seen it on papers this year. Like @Arcolite, the main reason we use it is that it doesn't have one. We used to use WordPad but we used to have issues where kids wouldn't mark their scripts with the necessary information, so the 'put your details in first' screen EWP has is super handy

The way it should be IMO I've always disliked the pre-rendered no-actual-gameplay trailers that come out too close to a game's inception. I'd rather a company just go "We're working on $game, we don't have any footage to show you but here's the concept art we're working with. We're planning on it being a $genre with $mechanics. We'll show you more when we've got something." Concept art is cool and I always wish we got more of it It stops them setting up big grandiose promises they end up not following through with It would probably push games into world-building with the environment (as opposed to exposition) so that they could show off 'more' with their concept art.

Whose flavour of 'Swiss Army Knife' do you choose, though? Victorinox or Wenger? From my own (probably out-of-date) cub/scout experience (and with a mother who was a scout leader), something like a Leatherman would be perfect for an older scout that would look after it properly and get a lot of use from it, but for a 12 year old, as the others have said, your standard 'swiss army' multi-tool ought to do the job just fine. If there's ever anything you're concerned about though, speak to their leader. They'll always have the best idea of what it'll be needed for and be able to advise on what is or isn't acceptable.

Well, yeah. Kinda But you could also do the trolling. Rather than hunt mobs you could hunt other players to take their loot.. Or just not care about the loot at all and hunt other players for the lulz. It was your standard MMO-run-dungeons-constantly-to-get-better-loot flavour of repetitive grind, just with the added hazard of other players thrown into the mix. Open enough to make your own fun, closed enough that if there were no enemies around you could still do something useful. Kept things interesting. I have to admit I liked it. Very much a 'you need to be with friends to enjoy it' style of game though, 100%

Ah yeah, TD1 was MP/endgame focussed. I have to admit I actually really liked the story/co-op part of TD1. It was surprisingly well fleshed out. But everything was pointing you towards the Dark Zone eventually.

Did you not play the first The Division? It's kinda like Wildlands, but not really, but kinda. TD1 had a 'story'/group mode, where it was you an up to 3 other chums doing PvE, there were set story missions (each with easy/medium/hard difficulties where enemies got more bullet spongey as you went up, but you got better loot) and where you could roam around the city, coming across NPC mobs from different factions. This would net you equipment that was kinda MMO-in-nature, rolling for stats etc. Then there was the 'Dark Zone', the PvP-PvE area where you'd go in (again, solo or up to groups of 4) and get instanced with people of similar gear level, where you could again hunt npc mobs and get loot, but you had to call in a helicopter to extract your loot. Each chopper only had space for 4 players' items though, and everyone in the instance would get a notification when you called for a chopper and they could come and kill you and loot your stuff (and even extract it themselves with the chopper you called in), so it was kind of a team-based free-for-all that encouraged people to gank each other. Overall it was fun, but a bit different to Wildlands in playstyle (well, Wildlands at launch, I tried the beta, it was okay but I wasn't too impressed). The PvE was quite similar, but the main focus of The Division was its PvP Dark Zone There were a lot of issues with TD1 though. At launch a lot of the the stuff was handled client-side, so any kid with access to ArtMoney or similar memory editor could run around the Dark Zone with infinite health and ammo, and I kept running into issues where the world wouldn't generate and I'd fall through the floor, or textures failed to load in and would stay at their lowest LOD. But overall I still enjoyed the game and I'll be giving TD2 a look once we get more info about it.

Nah, like I said, I clicked print, that error came up, I manually set a default printer, clicked print again, printed to the printer, paper came out as normal. One of the big printers in Reprographics is offline at the moment, engineer's rooting around its innards, so it's possible that having Windows manage my default printer had set it to that one, and that caused it. Or not. Dunno. I think at this point all we can do is speculate. If it crops up again I might give a bit more time to debugging it, I hate not being able to give any useful information about it. But I've been printing scripts off for the past couple of weeks and this is the first time I've had that pop up, so I don't think it's going to be a big deal.

Probably then, yeah. Same printer/driver I've been using for the past however-long though. And the same printer I printed to after I'd set the default printer. HP LaserJet 600 M602, PCL6 driver.

Congratulations on joining the useless error message club Not sure what caused this, would've been happy to troubleshoot if it were a mock but alas, not the case. I set a default printer manually and then it worked, but in hindsight, I got the error once then did the printer, so it may have just worked the second time anyway and changing the printer didn't have any effect

Yep, as the others have said, AppData. I know Google Chrome has 2 flavours (or at least, used to), one that installs to C:\Program Files and one that installs to %Appdata%, depending on where it can write to. Plus there's a myriad of portable applications these days. There's arguments for and against it, really. We do redirected start menus and local profiles, so software would only install on that machine for that user, and they'd have to be savvy enough to navigate to their appdata by path, so that knocks out most of our users.

Just as a point, you can associate .EXAMTEXT files with EWP and they open normally without need for doing any bogus details. That's how I do it for when I'm printing their scripts off. A hard-close button on the candidate screen would be good though, that if pressed exits the entire program. That should avoid the potential exam scripts with no candidate details issue, I'd think?

Alt+F4 closes that window without needing to put any info in, and then you can exit the program as normal (or just Alt+F4 again) From a personal perspective I'd say just do that.. The less on-screen options we give users to cause problems with, the better.

I know the answer is technically It's winter, the lake is frozen because I've heard this one before.. But this one works better if you say river, not lake. Lakes can be walked around

Another +1 for ExamWritePad We were using Wordpad to get around spellcheck/thesaurus/etc in Word as we never found a way to permanently force-disable them, but EWP's request for candidate information, save history, autosave function and automatic printing of cover pages has made exam season just that little bit less of a hassle.

That's what I'd do if possible.. Take 8 or so addresses out of the Router's DHCP pool and just statically assign the cameras and NVR.

That would just be amazing. I don't think anything earlier than Defiance works on Windows 10 At least, it doesn't for me.

My immediate thought would be that the NVR and your Router are both operating as DHCP servers.

We call ours 'Secure Staff Area', though that's probably a misnomer when you consider the amount of staff that just wander off leaving their PC unlocked Ours is reasonably tidy, we enforce using subfolders by only giving read/write permissions to certain security groups per department. We find that what happens then is you still get 16 years of Maths resources, half of which are written in a either French, Latin or Eldritch, but that's their problem because it's in their departmental folder The admin folders, things like policy documents and official communiques are kept tidy.

I've deleted that one too, but I have left Delete cached copies of roaming profiles enabled.
