When logged onto youtube it is working as it normally should. I can see restricted videos and approve those videos for other users (students) to watch if they are logged in.

I didn't have a problem using docker myself. Spun up a ubuntu vm and followed the instructions on the website. The community.xibo instructions by Alex are a bit easier to follow than the actual instructions. I always find these things like docker is easier to get running under Linux than windows - less chance of some spurious windows setting causing an issue.

Using the default settings, you must extract/install the Xibo CMS inside the C:\Users directory for correct operation. Using an alternative location will cause your uploaded content and layouts to be lost. from Xibo Documentation Was this your issue @executiverocker?

Information Audit.xlsx That's what I've come up with based on @DavePa and @TechMonkey suggestions and a bit of general thievery from @Seb1780 The "fundamental" change I've made from Seb's is to list individual pieces of data eg phone numbers, address, allergy rather than the document that that data is obtained from eg admissions paperwork I'm not sure if either is the correct way to go - I can see my way generating a much bigger spreadsheet! And the headache of the address is on SIMS, admissions paperwork, schoolcomms etc and god knows where else. Right that's home address done, now telephone number.... email address..... Fun times...

Video works fine on a mobile (using the dns m.youtube.com) but same video has a problem on http://www.youtube.com

Anyone having problems with youtube on LGfL? Have severe restricted on and has been fine for ages. But now unrestricted videos (that you would see when not logged in) play fine. Restricted videos do not when logged in. The video comes up as being unavailable but the sound happily plays in the background. Happening at two of our LGfL schools.

As with @colly72 vLans should be possible on any good phone system. Ours is a Panasonic and you can, on the phone, set a vlan for the phone and a vlan for the computer so that Ethernet traffic is passed in the right direction. Had a quick look around the Polycom manuals etc and can't find similar instructions but can't believe that that is the final answer...

Or update to 4.40.4 as @Al_NetSupport says it is resolved on that release. At least that rules it out

Maybe try turning in on at the root then off again and propagating the off change to all computers. Or check settings further down the tree to see if it's enabled at a department level.

Well turn off autodiscovery and watch as your network returns to normal, your phone stops ringing and helpdesk stops adding tickets. Was a nightmare until I tracked it down. @Al_NetSupport has this issue been fixed in 4.40.4 or 4.5? (your ref PR129758) Apart from that and bringing our network to a halt with a Sophos incompatibility when we first installed it's been a really useful tool if your still evaluating.

My case ref was PR129758 if you want to quote it to NetSupport. They gave me a patch which I haven't installed yet. I've just got auto discovery turned off and install the client via SCCM. Out of curiosity what version are you running? I started seeing the issue on 4.40.3

In DNA be on the Home Screen with the list of PCs. Right click your school name, Settings, Auto Discovery, Untick enabled then save and propagate to all machines.

Had this exact same issue recently with out system (inherited no vlans also). Anyway after digging around NetSupportDNA was sending out a broadcast every 15 minutes looking for new computers etc. Turned off autodiscovery and it's been fine since. Just incase you use NetSupport.

The next time someone goes to logon to this try typing and then press delete. I thought I was going crazy but it deletes two characters at a time for me. Wondering if it's just me.

Just to advise people to check on backups after doing all this. Have had problems with QNAP with it having SMBv1 set as the highest protocol allowed and an update (presumably not the SMBv1) has caused some errors with Veeam running. Hopefully you all won't have a problem but good to check!

Veeam's gone a bit buggered up for me. Found a community posting which reads I may have found the correct post!

Just came across my first problem with disabling SMB1. Had a thought that I would just disable my backup share until the day passes tomorrow to be safe. Went to check that backups had completed successfully and the Veeam service wasn't running. Was checking another school and the Symantec services had all crashed. Panic! In short both used QNAP which for both was set with a highest SMB version of 1. Can be changed by going to Control Panel -> Network Services -> Win/Mac/NFS -> Microsoft Networking tab. Click on Advanced Options, and look for Highest SMB Version. Enabling this again and rerunning the backups that failed due to SMBv1 being disabled in the middle of the last backup and killing the services.
