  1. We join ours to intune via gpo if you mean general Apps office, vlc etc., these are installed by the MDT build, or later via intune or still occasionally by PDQ.

yeah you're probably right on this, most of us (techies etc.) do so as not to have all eggs in one basket so to speak but but i guess other users do not. that said duo has its own and I think cpoms does and I haven't any really push back.

Yes but most folk have more than one MFA app and if I could avoid anything Microsoft I would, its always so much much more hassle than anything other vendors do.
  4. Its time to do this now set some of the affected machines with statics and see how you get on
  5. edit can you screenshot the disk manager for server 1 ?
  6. Its hard to see it as a switch config issue given that a working pc will work in any port and you get power to phones, are any of the pcs that fail plugged into the voip phones(piggy backing)? if you set the ips to static do they work? whcih side of the site is the dhcp server the working or non working?
  7. With mpio enabled they should only be online on one server IRC but visible to all hosts in the cluster via a csv.
  8. does the voip phone get power just no ip?
  9. Any chance you could pm this script i think we could really make use of this ?
  10. A good article on the current setup here https://helpcenter.elearningforce.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015355257-Implications-of-Microsoft-Exchange-Online-limits-on-LMS365-Learn365-email-notifications i admit deciphering the actual limits and what is a recipient etc. is a head scratcher..
  11. They do, The current recipient rate limit for Exchange Online is 10,000 recipients per day. The recipient limit is monitored using a rolling 24-hour period. If the limits are reached then no emails may be sent from the email account that breached the limit until the recipient rate drops below the threshold.
  12. Have you tried the process on a different internet connection that's not behind any firewall or proxy (a dirty connection) we had issues with enrollment in the past and they didn't like our connection, worked seamlessly on the same proxied connection after enrollment.
  13. Almost certainly driver issue, I would of thought but as you say they are up to date so maybe reach out to their support team.
  14. For those of you not using third parties to send out reports end of term letters etc. one to watch out for MC787382 | April 26 - Beginning January 2025, Exchange Online will enforce a new External Recipient Rate limit of 2000 recipients per 24 hours, introduced in two phases for new and existing tenants. This limit is part of the overall 10000 Recipient Rate limit, aiming to prevent abuse of services. Organizations exceeding this limit should consider Azure Communication Services for Email.
  15. Just a reminder that The transition to Broadcom starts on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (PDT) https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/97304
  16. I really do think this is add the new host but do not run any validation checks (especially not the storage part) as this will take everything off line and as long as your SAN is mapped to your server and MPIO is configured, the drives will appear in the second host drive manager, do nothing with them just leave them as they are off line or uninitialized. If you use Windows admin center and the fqdn of the cluster there is a add node wizard you should be fine. The existing csvs will then appear on the third host
  17. Eh scrap that papercut uses smtp apologies.
  18. Papercut here.
  19. So you have a clustered shared volume available to both hosts currently?
  20. You'll need to add in the cost of the 10gb fiber modules as well so may be worth getting quotes on them as well.
  21. This is the bit DFE have not taken into consideration when mandating two separate lines, add the cost of the fact the separate line needs to be filtered for the students and staff its a nonsense.

not Microsoft but we use cisco duo for this its brilliant and works really well at the right price point, a simple install on each rds server and the rest is done via an online portal, giving all the insight i need on logons.
  23. The 1820 were 1gb only, you should be looking at 10gb uplinks on switches now, the Dell N1524P are really good but are at the higher end of the price but very rarely falter and come with good waranty.
  24. Take a look at the running config on your core switch specifically the port that plugs directly into the router that provides the internet connection, that should provide the answer, it may have an ip address attached to the vlan that is in the same range as the router.
