well if you can't find another way as an absolute backup/lst resort and if you could convince HT just to do a live stream it would take a few moments to set up youtube, you could then take questions via email (iPad next to webcam ) this would have the added bonus of HT being able to screen messages or getting surprised/caught out by any questions which would then be on video for all to see.. just a thought

I would go with obs and live stream to you schools youtube channel and schedule it to come on with restricted access

yes we will have individual class teacher meetings with the link shared to students who will log on using their school accounts, so I'm still left the issue of the early joiners

Thanks,i think we have our's setup right multiple ssids in guest mode etc but I suspect I have missed something I am no unifi expert

Thanks for this appreciated but i'm not sure this helps us in this instance as all the children parents that the teacher wants to speak will be invited to the same meeting just at different time slots, so the challenge as I see it is to stop the early joiners or politely kick them off when they join..

Hi all, we are toying with the idea of setting up google meets for our open evening this term, has anyone done this is it straight forward, any gotchas that you can pass on. All our students have logons so we will not need to generate unique codes for non domain users as they will sit with parents anyway but I worry that one student could log on early on interrupt another slot particularly if there is over run, any pointers as always gratefully recieved Pablo

Hi all I am looking to record myself on my inbuilt webcam to record and then edit a quick video interview, I cannot see the wood through the trees in terms of the myriad software available so does anyone have any recommendations for windows, ideally I would be able to output in various sizes so I could manipulate the size of the finished piece? thanks in advance Pablo

its working fine and dandy here, how odd it's not for you, it think we botched the initial install so uninstalled and went again maybe that's what got it all working for us..

I think we are going down the route of cisco umbrella for our chromebooks off site (we manage them) and for all else we have gone down the route of a traditional paid for schools proxy delivered via wpad and proxy pac file, as the proxy only has one port for all so it should be fairly straight forward, we are using unifi guest wireless which stops inter vlan traffic.

Hi all, I am looking for an internet filtering solution for our 6th form BYOD network, ideally, it would be fully transparent (no proxy settings, ports certificates, etc.)so that I don't have to do anything on end devices to allow them to connect, or it would have some sort of portal that they could enter a username password to gain access. Can anyone recommend anything, not too bothered if its on-premise or cloud-based. As always thanks in advance.
