This is the first of many questions i have for you guys today, tis one of those days... Ok, i've started using Outlook 2010 for my Zimbra emails. I used an add-on to sync it with my Zimbra account and it all works fine. It's been pointed out to me though that when i do an email to the allstaff distribution list, they see every email in that list instead of just allstaff like normal. Is there something im doing wrong? I'm guessing i can stick it in the BCC but thats a bit rubbish...

Eugh,, been playing with this all day and have got nowhere! My VM test machine just wasn't applying any of the changes I made!

Guys! I was hoping the assistant head/PTA had forgotten but it doesn't look like it... I need pros and cons for peeps who have got ipads up and running. We're a primary. So things like further costs involved, issues with management of the devices, are they any good as an educational aid or is it the "ooh shiny!" factor. I don't want just a list of cons! I need a balanced opinion to show people (but yeah, I don't want them! They can just about look after the netbooks!). Pwetty please!

A bit of a depressing update but i know a few of you are Dexter fans. Unfortunately the abscess has turned out to be cancerous. So its palliative care from now on. Could be weeks, could be months...I'm hoping he'll go in his sleep, don't fancy a one way Vet visit.

I was given an Amstrad CPC464 and then upgraded to the newer one...which in my head was a 646, but i might have made that up. It had a cartridge reader in the side of the keyboard and came with the game Burning Rubber i think.... Right, created users. Used BAT file to create folders. Now, what can i do to point the account to the folder? Isnt there something i can put at the end of \\curricsvr1\users\$homefolder$ or something like that? Almost like a wildcard? When i right click and look at the security its picked up the correct users etc, just need to point the home folder but for a batch of them!

Ok, heres a question. Say the script is running in the background, is halfway through and then suddenly...i dunno, the battery goes on the netbook, or a kid turns the machine off. Does it compare the folders when checking ifexist? Im just thinking, if the folder is there but half the files are missing what does it do?

Trying to install new version of Wordshark. It currently just runs from the server, but im all for giving the pc's the workload. According to the intructions i need to deploy two folders to the client whilst the shared data stays on the server. How and also where is the best place to put these on the client?

lol! I did wonder whether i should edit it to change to hedgehog!
