  1. Figured it, found the configuration in the Tripp Lite UI.
  2. Switch isn't on the UPS. No issues with the second server not coming back up immediately.
  3. 1 UPS, 2 Servers. The UPS doesn't have a network management card. Limited budget. I'd like the server communicating with the UPS, to issue a shutdown command, when it shuts down, to tell the second server to commence with a shutdown. I've tried adding a remote shutdown script to gpedit local on the primary server, however it doesn't seem to trigger on a shutdown. It does however execute manually.
  4. Folks is there a way of assigning a User Configuration specific GPO to assign home pages/ start-up pages to Edge?
  5. I'm about to list a recently purchased Dell Latitude e7240 laptop on ebay and thought I'd see I had any takers on here first. I procured it for my consultancy work, however due to now working 'for the man' I no longer need it. It's in mint condition, bought as a refurbished unit at the time. Spec listed below, very lightweight and perfect for on-the-go. Dell Latitude E7240 12.5″ Ultrabook - Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz - 4 GB RAM - 128 GB SSD - Gray I'm after £250, plus P&P.
  6. Can someone assist my fragile little mind!? I'm trying to allow users to install the ODFB Next Gen Sync Client, however because of the File Restriction policy in place, all executable are being blocked from %APPDATA%. Is there a work around?
  7. We recently recommended a Zioxi (formerly ISIS) laptop trolley for a school in need of two smaller trolleys. They've been great, clients very happy - although the limited compartment dimensions did require us measuring the laptops prior to the procurement. That said, I doubt that would be required with iPad's. The trolley range is quite stylish and doesn't look as industrial in comparison to others.
  8. We've installed a number of UU systems into smaller school sites, all without hitch. That said, I'm keen to explore the AC of the Xirrus system and I'm also keen to find out how the pricing structure of Aerohive compares.
  9. Has anyone used this to great success? I'm working with a small primary school in the UK to improve their wireless. The school has a mixed wireless deployment of 60 laptops (Windows), 150 iPads, of which the latter gets used extensively, with a large investment (overkill IMO) in various apps. I've been looking into a number of wireless systems; Xirrus, Ubiquiti and Aerohive. I've got quotes for a Xirrus system, currently awaiting for the Aerohive quote. I'm put off somewhat by the per radio license costs for Xirrus. Not sure if Aerohive have a similar pricing structure. For the cost and performance, Ubiquiti is hard to beat (that I do know), However I'd like to know if Xirrus Application Control is going be beneficial in any way, particular as this seems to be one of its selling points. I'd also like to know if the Unifi AP's will be able to cope under load. Thoughts/ advice on a postcard please.
  10. The mods will probably frown on this, so apologies in advance. I'm sure the new name will hit the spot...
  11. Smells like yet another Microsoft money making scheme to me... Which on the one hand I understand, whilst on the other I think could be provided without rinsing it, selling add-ons for something that should already be tenant integrated. We've tightened up on our email/ cloud services AUP documentation - making staff fully understand the risks and how to prevent a mess in a tea cup (so-to-speak).
  12. Transpires it was a driver, ripped/ replaced and now all good.
  13. I have a strange issue with the airplane/ flight mode icon displaying in place of the network/ wireless icon. Have anyone else had this?
  14. Sorry folks I've been away and downed all tools. The problem we're experiencing, is users adding the OneDrive app to their mobile device, the results being accessing corporate content on their personal devices mobile devices. We're keen to stop and are currently not sure if this is doable in the Security and Compliance section.
  15. Apologies, I posted the above in the wrong thread (silly me).

  17. Is there any way of blocking Office 365 users from accessing OneDrive app? We currently have a number of users installing this on their own mobile devices.
  18. We've taken over several Trapeze sites, however thankfully have managed to rip them out prior to providing any support. Take a look at this video, it may assist with the RingMaster management; Can't provide much assistance other than this.
  19. Suggestions are it could be a stopped pool... Have you checked IIS? https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/318d2e4d-4d59-4f67-83cf-068579621bde/sharepoint-2010-http-error-503-the-service-is-unavailable?forum=sharepointadminprevious
  20. Apologies, just read the IP address bit.
  21. You've made sure the IP address is the same?
  22. Same boat, following my colossal mistake of not realising Edge isn't available in LTSB, I went full circle from testing the unnecessarily bloated Edu, to LTSB, then back to Edu. I shelved testing back in May, opting to test again (thoroughly) in early August with a colleague. I'm still not overly keen on deploying it in education or corporate environments.
  23. Thanks again Steve.
  24. Can this rule be set to allow forwarding of emails against specific accounts?
