The LA we're with provide centrally managed filtering using LightSpeed, we have experienced no issues through them. I can't see their provision being a patch on the SB backend provision... My point being, is this definitely a filtering issue?

What alternatives are on offer? We have started testing Windows 10, however a long way off from full migration.

Is anyone using the MinecraftEdu under the new $5 per head scheme? I've been tasked to looking into this for the school and not sure where to start.

Michael it did work following the instruction provided by 'Tom'. See the the thread link I provided. You can specify options 66 and 67 on your main DHCP Scope and force it to work - set option 066 to your WDS Server IP address/FQDN and 067 with the following string "\boot\x86\wdsnbp.com". this will work for x32 boot images (win7 or win8) on wds 2008 and 2012. We have deployed win7 x32 onto ours quite happily.

I'm experiencing problems getting an old batch of Toshiba laptops, with Atheros NICs, to talk to a WDS server. All other devices; Dell laptops, OptiPlex PC's, Lenovo PC's connect fine. All of which are running Realtek NICs (I believe). The only thing to change, is the instance of WDS is now running on a 2012 R2 VM. Any clues or experiences of similar dismay?!

Funny you mention the fan issue, that has been noted in a review I read. It's a toss up between the Cisco SB SG300 52P and the EdgeSwitch. It's the EdgeSwitch Lite series I'm the most unsure of.

Has anyone had any success with the Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch Lite series and 48-port, 500W series? They seem reasonably priced for a low end solution.

Whoops, my fault entirely - I was blocking access to the store with another Windows 10 test GPO.

I've been playing around with App Locker with our W10 test vm, and unfortunately I've managed to break the Windows Store. We're looking to provide staff access to the WS, to permit adding specific apps assigned through our school business store account. I've attached two screen captures of the message I'm getting, as well as what apps are being blocked using App Locker. I've created security groups, assigning specific staff users into the 'store allow' group.
