[ms office - 2016] Cannot click on minimised windows to full size them
witch replied to witch's topic in Office Software
Nothing to see anywhere. This is just on her laptop which is permanently attached to her interactive whiteboard. I will go and see her and get her to show me again - maybe the docs have moved somehow -
Mortal Engines I enjoyed it once I had suspended disbelief. Those huge machines gave me a few moments of terror. You can tell it was written for younger people - lots of killing but no soppy stuff. Completely different ending to the book though - why do they do that?

Been on my own since I started this game 18 years ago, other than a brief period in a school where I was used as a skivvy by the NM - all I did was collect and deliver computers all day. I don't mind being on my own, but I would prefer to be in a team of two. The school pays for telephone support from an external company as I am part-time and on my own and this includes a technician visit once a month for 2 hours. I love those hours. The tech and I have known each other from the beginning as he happened to be the tech in all three of the schools I have worked in, and he has taught me a lot. When we are looking at a problem together he very kindly listens to me and makes me feel like I know things! We often sort out problems together than neither of us had a handle on alone. I would love that in my day to day life. I like doing stuff that nobody else does, but the downside is that nobody can really relate to me and my job. I do get lonely.

All our printers are installed by logon script . I will look into adding a logoff script to clear the printers I think

I love the run-up to Christmas almost more than the day itself mrwITch and I have just returned from our annual pre-Christmas weekend. Bit early this year due to other commitments but still fun. The Christmas jumpers are coming down from the loft, and the Christmas Tree background is now on all the computers. Since we dont break up till the 21st it will be up for a while.

But the Doctor said she was "terrified" Since when is the Doctor terrified. Once again she has no idea what is going on and then..bam....she does. And the sonic screwdriver did everything else. Don't really need the Doctor anymore - seems to me

I'd forgotten this thread Watching my dog staring adoringly at my middle son who had just popped in to pick something up. He loves him so much he tries to climb onto his lap - and he isnt a small dog

The first thing to do is to try and find another plumber who can do the work fairly quickly, because if you cant do this then you are stuck with the plumber you have. If you CAN find someone else, contact your plumber to say that you cannot wait, and that if they invoice you for the work done you will pay for that. DONT tell your plumber to do one unless you have a replacement - as you said, they are very hard to find

I've just bought one too...I've no idea why...I should imagine one of my children or mrwITch might like it Or...if the price really does go back up to the higher level, I could always sell it on for a bit of profit...

Christmas Card Class Lists
witch replied to MrBitey's topic in Data Protection & Information Handling
A list of first names would be fine - to be given out by the class teacher - nothing to do with IT -

Has anyone seen any deals on smaller TVs? - 22inch, that sort of size. Need one for a bedroom - I think 56 would be a bit big...

I've not seen any problems - I find them pretty good

Crimes of Grindelwald Very slow film - it just dragged on and on, interupted by bouts of CGI. It is only half a film anyway - setting up for the next one

That John Lewis advert just makes me feel very old and sad for some reason.

Can someone confirm that it will be OK to use POEs rated at 45V when the ones I have say output 56V?
