Speak to Dave at ICT Direct - their refurbs are brilliant and the batteries are often new

Best episode so far. No moralising or preaching!

I loved Picard but I couldnt bear the idea that he had been sad and disillusioned for so long

That's good news. I've always found having the edugeeks at my back makes me much more able to think clearly

ohhh - mrwITch and or WitchJunior2 would love that coaster (WitchJunior2 is 29 and works in infrastructure support)

Stupid question - have you searched the server for any of his files? You just never know

Did anyone spot that in the list of email addresses - well mine anyway, was a certain Tony the Tiger @GrumbleDook Addressed to him in a previous job I believe

So...which door do I go through and then what? I can get lost trying to find the kitchen in my own house so..

I think if you dont allow it to "use this account everywhere" then you dont get some or all of the rest of it

It isn't your fault - it seems that the DH was never told where to save his files but that is just a small error on someone's part. Did the DH have induction? Who told the DH how to use the school network? If nobody did, lesson learned I would suggest. Don't beat yourself up about it. Get that HDD out and do your best

@edsa131 I have changed the name of your thread so that people can see the issue and maybe jump in and help. I can't offer any more than has already been suggested but someone will be able to help you, I am sure

Absolutely - she doesnt seem to know what she is doing half the time

What he said - a bit like variations on a theme - but you have to have the theme first!

I can't deal with the ridiculous gender swaps, changes of character and the way it looks I love Pratchett, I have every single book of his, but no, I won't be watching

Ahh - you see, I have a secret weapon - @BKGarry With him (gerroff, he's mine ) you get the best freebies that you can get I will need any animals or creatures for my creature shelf - if anyone sees any please let me know, or better still, grab me one

Just watched last week's episode Could really have done without the Climate change lecture at the end. Getting a bit tired of all this meaningful stuff TBH

"Deer plus I'm unaware of" Really made me laugh

Havent got Now or Sky Movies but I have got Sky Go so hopefully..

Bit of personal news but it certainly made me happy Found out that my first grandchild, due on Jun 4th, is a boy and all is well

All Tosh MFD here Pretty reliable

I was told back in the day not to learn because, as a female test engineer, if the other test engineers ( all men at that point) knew I could do it, I would be continually asked to type this or that. So I didn't But much later, when I had had my children, I did do a touch typing course and can now touchtype pretty well. I do love to type whilst talking to mrwITch about something else - he thinks it is amazing that I can do that. My children can all type as fast as me though, using only two or three fingers! More to the point though - can you type without looking at the screen?

The laptops aren't new. I think maybe I will get some powered ones anyway - can't hurt, can it?

Anyone know where I can watch Upgrade?

One has tried it - it made no difference apparently. Would have to buy all sorts of extra length of cable if this worked though

Hmmm I will try that but it is a projector I am talking about so maybe powered would be better?
