I couldn't figure this out and ended up doing 50 machines using a usb with W7 and an answer file with PDQ Deploy. I have used mirroring then changed the boot order to migrate.

Mine did work until a unexpected reboot then its bricked. The garbage coming out of the console is weird.

I did but it wasn't working. They are RMAing the unit and I have a temporary license so I can add all the other APs onto the working one. I really need to get a redundant unit.

I recently updated the firmware on our system to 9.8.1.0 build 101... AVOID IT. After a power recycle both of my ZD's failed to boot but managed to get them up and running.... now one of them has done the same and it wont come back online even after a power reset. Connecting a serial cable to it comes back with garbage. None of the APs connected to it work now so I am screwed.....really wish I had gone with Meraki

I might have to look at this, one of the ZD failed on reboot and now half my network is down.

Nimby... got to love them. On a separate point, on clear day I can see 3 power stations and it drives me crazy nimbies moaining about wind farms. I quite like them.

Might give it a try, I only do online as I hate people so it looks good. PS.Still getting a overdue letter from Misco even though we told them the reason why, they ignore emails now when emailing accounts@.... at least they aren't threatening court anymore.

Hi, Has anyone had any issues using ClaroRead and PDFs... particularly OCR papers. I had a look online and it says if the PDF is locked and cannot be copied then it wont read it but it seems to read the first bit then stop and wont read anymore. I did wonder if it was Acrobat but I tired FoxReader and nothing happens. I think staff are wanting to use them for mocks in January and obviously this is a big issue... and you can't copy the text from the paper as it wont let you.

Please move to 'I am a numpty' forum Thought I would try fixing the channel on the APs.... channel 1 failed like before but channel 6 sprang to life. There are a couple of BT wifi signals closeby which was messing things up. I guess me thinking the Ruckus stuff was clever made me ignore the basics. Now if the BT stuff channel hops I will be stuffed.

Might try the ceiling, tried 2 walls as I thought the second one was okay and cut the cable that length. Biggest issue is the chromecast then as I don't want to run a long HDMI mount it near the AP

Hi, I have an issue which is weird and causing me to pull what little hair I have left out. I want to get WIFI into our nursery room, its in the dungeons so just going to put an AP in one room and tell them this is where the wifi is. I have a Ruckus 7363 in there connected to a controller.. all is good. The issue arose when I tried to connect a wifi dongle to it and it saw it but wouldn't connect....but my W8 phone would and worked perfectly. A bit of trial and error with laptops, Hudl and chromecasters came to the conclusion that the 2.4Ghz is not working properly.....but if I remove it away from the walls it does... the signal is still strong when I wall mount it but it never connects on any device but take it off the wall and the devices connect. Not sure what to do... I probably need to force the 5ghz on the devices as that seems solid but as they see the 2.4 one also they try and connect to that.. and fail. I did have an issue with the netgear AP too which I thought was just that it was rubbish, I am starting to think the room is made by the same people who built the tower block in ghostbusters to bring Gozer through
