I have been trying to get an answer for 3 days from tech support now. If the disks are showing failure should this cause the box to become unresponsive or randomly reboot? All I am getting back is that 2 disks are showing signs of failure. I am putting in some new WD from the recommended list to see if that helps.

I had set this previously but it cant be taking. Where have you moved it to? I am sure I tried to get it to copy to their home directory.

Hi, Has anyone had any issues with the latest firmware release? Just done my 469 box to 4.13 20150408 and its needed hard resetting twice in the past week, no access to the GUI or the network. QNAP support reckon its because 2 disks are failing (which is wrong as they have been replaced months ago and all is green) but my argument is why would the box fail if drives fail anyway...

Hi, Having a browse through the profiles of the staff I noticed that the cache folder in the app data bit of their profile is huge... the biggest one is currently 590Mb out of a profiles size of 700Mb. I have the google ADMX installed but must be missing something. I did manually delete these before but it ruined the profile altogether.. How do you guys handle caching in Google... am I missing the setting somewhere.

Well its ruined my laptop, I left it updating overnight and failed, the when it says its restoring previous versions it reboots after 29 minutes and starts again.

I took my laptop to work, installed Windows 7 on it then booted into 10 and it popped into life. Very flakey

Me again, the new build took 12 hours to install and now it's stuck and won't do anything with the start menu.. Loads of errors in the logs and nothing starts... Sat here watching the cog spin saying restarting, guess that's what you get with trialling stuff

Agree. I thought the best bits of Ultron were in the trailer.. the rest of him was a bit weak. I didn't really like the mid bit with Hawkeye, ground the film to a halt and he has always been the weakest character of the team. One of my fave scenes of the first film was the bit with loki and widow where she pretends to be upset... that character isn't in this film as she turns all girly.

Is anyone going to the midnight showings of the Age of Ultron. I noticed our local Cineworld is doing a marathon with Avengers 1 , Winter Soldier followed by Age of Ultron at 12.01. I am very tempted to go but with work next door I may be a little tired but it may be worth it..... altyhough maybe not the marathon, imagine how much snacks will costs for 7 hours. I have only been to 2 midnight showings in my time, the first was the original Bad Lieutenant with Harvey Keitel at the old Odeon in Leeds... then I went to Star Wars Episode 1 which burnt me and made me not want to get too excited again... but Ultron is peaking my interest again.

I had a quick look before Easter and trying to find a simple Open Source reader was a pain. http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/business-and-government/products/os-open-map-local.html I did install one and it worked but it wasn't slick and overly complicated.

I think the guy from Apple support said it wasn't available in stores yet... but couldn't give a time from or if it will ever be available. It was my one and only purchase of 20 iPads, I didn't want to buy a mac just for managing them. I thought I was buying them from Apple Edu but the receipt says Apple retail ( I got a EDU discount). I know what's coming now, I can't use these as I got them from the wrong place. I am not having a go at Apple for the sake of it, just think its silly they have restrictions for no reason on legitimate purchases.

Got a reply from the store. The Device Enrollment Program is currently only available for new orders purchased through an account in store, as they have to be ordered and processed as a DEP order at the point of purchase So I am stuck unless they change it. I will not comment on how I feel about this.

It was a Apple techie that I spoke to.. on the DEP I have Apple Direct as the reseller which is where I got them from.

Just been on the phone with apple, was told I needed to give the dep enrolment number to the store when I purchased them so I need a time machine. They are only 18 months old so within the 3 year time scale. This is the info I was given but he is going to call me back and see if he can force the enrolment. I followed all the instructions, just wanted a play really..i use Meraki mdm by the way.

I am all Netgear here and I have been using them for 10 years, gradually upgrading the switches each year. Only had a couple of failures (not on the core) which were swapped out. I have Netgear M5300-28GF3 & GSM7328S at my core, just running 1Gb though as I cant afford to replace the fibre. Biggest issue is the difference in the CLI commands when configuring them... still after all these years I cannot get my head round the VLAN commands.

Would love to share ours with everyone to warn against using them but best not. The back end is no better than Joomla which at least had the ability to add stuff on to it.

I quite like it but need to see how the GP works with the start menu... and the wonderful libraries... and the pinned menu items...and the desktop.ini issue....
