It should have been released by your LEA if not direct from SIM's. I have it if anyone is in need of it, or should i post it here for folks to get?

For all you donrt want to touch SIM's i feel as someone who uses it a lot it isnt as bad as it may seem to be. It does all the basics well and generaly works fine. Yes updates can cause headaches, but you get that with any software I moved back to if from Serco Facility. We used Seco Facility and i can assure you although it has alot more power and features it doesnt do the basics easily, or at least it didnt. We got it at a time when it was expanding rapidly and support was a joke, towards the end I must admit it was alot better, but by this stage i had lost patience. Out of the two i would say Facility was the better software, but SIM's was easier for staff to use as once theygot there registers the marksheets on the same secition via tabs is perfect for them. (which i found strange as we used the E-Portal part of facility for staff and as its like a webpage itshould have been easier for them... but hey thats teachers)

So where would you say is canny for a group of lads who like to drink and like indie music not idiots on pills dancing to bass beats that crash through there chests.....
-
This sounds exactly what were looking for..... found quite a similar type pub in Blackpool called he sports bar... only association to sports was a cricket bat on the wall......
-
Well open pubs would be a little more useful.. although some of the boys coming can "open" most buildings if needed........
-
Heading to liverpool for a lot of drinks next weekend and was wondering where the best places to go are these days... Was last there with some locals about 4 years ago and they took us to some canny bars and ended up in this massive club with about 3 or 4 floors (memory is hazey) that had an icebath full of drink on the ground floor..... is that place stil there as it had brilliant music.. and by brilliant i mean they played bon jovi and proclaimers......!!!!

Yes its A ptp... but i am certain it cant be that as we can connect to the network fine, internet access over the link is fine, access to shares on other server are fine. Just this one server which has been working for months. Have reset the server and shut down and started up ... still cant connect to it properly... -
Hi, please save me from insanity....... Until 8 this morning everything worked fine but now we are getting this problem. We cannot connect to a servers shares across our ruckus wireless connection. We have two sites with a rukus wlan connection between them. The second site is on a different subnet and we havea routerbetween the different subnets and has been working fine since september. Today we have been unable to connect to any shares on a Windows 2008 server at the main site. We can access all the shares from the main site and from the remote site we can connect to all share on any other server... theres just this one that wont... or should i say it will but takes over 3 minutes then for every directory you cick on it just times out. Is there anything i am missing.. i have checked the firewall and theres been no changes, even turned it off totally. There were no windows updates installed. I have reset all connected hardware. ping works fine. can connect to iis in the server. checked file sharing permissions, even setup a new share to test. Still nothing. i am sure theres a simple solution but for the life of me cannot see it.. Any ideas or advice please.. infact please PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE.......

I dont agree with all this "They need to big clubs" it was the greed of these two clubs, (and many many more in england and europe) that caused this problem. If they go out of business, yes celtic may have and easier time of itfor a while, but as there will be less money from tv due to there not being old firm clashes, celtic will in turn have to reduce there wage bill. This will lead to teams that have managed and worked on lower revenues to compete alot better and should therefore create a more open league. Yes there may not be the same highlevel of players or "star" names, but i would prefer to see teams competing instead of a few running away...

When we had this we found it was the firtewall... try turning the firewall off on the server, if its already off then thats a different problem than we had....

Hi All, not sure where to ask this question or if it has been asked before..... Our governors want us to create a forum so students could post comments and provide a "Healthy Debate" on school policies a school life. Yes i know what your all gonna say, can of worms, horse bolting, etc.... But although i have massive misgivings they want to go ahead. So, I was wondering if any other schools do this and how they monitor it... or if anyone has done this and ended up having to stop, or even schools with it successful. One thing they want to add to it is that the ICT Manager is responsible for it..... that being me, i am liable for anything as i recall a certain welsh international (say no more) trying to bring twitter to justice as they were responsible for what is posted on there site.... Any advice would be grateful as i can see this going ahead no matter what i advise...

Hi, For what its worth two years ago i went through 3 account managers over the process one one quote!!!! I always had trouble getting the quotes back quickly from dell account managers so started using a reseller. Never looked back since as the price worked out cheaper the first time i used a reseller and have no experience of quotes direct from dell since, but reseller quotes come in around what i am looking for. There support for there warranties is very good in my experience..... Had no problems getting things fixed or swapped out.. (touch wood)....

Hi, thanks for the quick response, and it is a wireless link. FIXED well who would have guessed my eyes were the problem... and a faulty switch... The switch had the connection plugged into port 23... and the light was flashing on 21...!!!!! so replaced switch and all is well....

Hi, This one puzzles me..... We have a Wireless link to another of our sites and this link has been fine for 2 months but has just started being funny, think it could be related to the power going off and on last night but maybe its not.... There are two ruckus units that connect both sites and at present the link is up. We can access the internet over it, i can remote desktop to the servers on either side. I can access shares over it... i can ping over it....... your thinking ....AND... But i cannot access our sims server over it.... I can ping the server, just cant access the sims folder share. I can get full access and have sims working on the site that the sims server is physically at, and no problems whatsoever... just the remote site cant. The remote site cant access the servers shares or anything to do with that server, but fien with all other servers. I have restarted all hardware, but the fact everything works except this server prompts me to thinking i am missing somethign obvious.... any ideas?

Not sure if this has been discussed before but what is the best name or description of a computer you have heard... Bumble the legendary Lancashire Oracle has just said "The email machine's gone into meltdown, whats it called, the computer" Classic

Hi Niall, I feel your pain as you are doing exactly what we are, i posted a different thread but going to hijack this with you if you dont mind... ChrisH - we have been tod two subnets and have a cisco router between our two sites to deal with the two subnets. What i would like to know is how to setup the other subnet... and what to choose.... We have 192.168.8-15 subnet mask 255.255.248.0 on our main site. what would you recommend for the second subnet on the other site? we thought 192.168.16-20 and same subnetmask... i imagine i am totally wrong like... lol
